Anthony's in Anacortes is my favorite restaurant. The food and service are excellent. It's a great place to celebrate a special occasion. There are lots of windows. The lighting is very pleasant. The tableware and dishes are top quality. I recommend this restaurant.

We were disappointed in the food, the sole was thin and heavily breaded. My porkchop was brought on potatoes when I ordered the rice. The brocotini was hard and very greasy, would much rather had it steamed. The fried food, including the sole and fish and chips were over cooked and very dark. The porkchop was very fatty. For the prices I would have expected it to be up to Anthony's standards, but was not.

We made our Open Table late lunch reservation on the fly as we were driving there and were seated at a wonderful table with a great view of the marina and water on arrival. Tasty cod tacos for me and a steelhead salad main for my wife were respectively paired with a stout and a white wine ...great meal and service! One of our go to dining places.

All of the seafood dishes here are tremendous but the one last night was especially good. Columbia river steelhead. It was just delicious. They currently offer sole, rockfish, salmon, halibut, lobster, scallops, oysters and crab. They offer several different preparations and side dishes. The seafood fettuccine is extremely good as is the clam chowder and pan fried oysters. If you like seafood, you'll find something that you'll like.
The seating was private and quiet. The food was prompt, hot and very nice. We had a great view of the harbor. A very nice experience.

Our server was Miranda and she was a treasure. Attentive but not hovering. Our meal was very good, prepared perfectly and most enjoyable!

As a local for several years, have had consistently high quality experiences at Anthony's Cap Sainte. Most recently reminded of their focus on seasonal cocktails and desserts -- a good way to balance variety and creativity with ability to rely on previously enjoyed standards (e.g., halibut not on the official menu, but typically available anyway because they source their own fish). Also worth noting that while they're a regional "chain," it's a family-built and owned business that seems to treat team members well (of course critical to maintaining high standards), and seem to be good community members.
