I was treating a friend to an Anthony's meal and decided to enjoy the celebration of the Founder's Birthday. We wore Hawaiian tops as suggested. Our meals were quite delicious and we were happy that bread and butter were provided without an extra charge. The best part though was the special treat of chocolate truffles we received at the end of the meal also no charge. Small considerations like this make me want to keep on coming back to Cap Sante Anthonys.
Our server was wonderful. Food was mostly good, though the portion of ling cod seemed very small. I had noted it was our 40th Anniversary but that was not acknowledged. Still, we had a lovely time at Anthony's and I really enjoyed the celebration of berries on the menu and in my cocktail.
The tempura asparagus was old and not very tasty. My crab cakes were served hot but the rice was not. Overall I felt I payed too much for the quality. I have been going to Anthony's for many years and feel Anacortes is hit and miss. We will probably not be going back.
