Party of 6 adults from Seattle, loved the long list of specials, The sangria, sampled by the group, was judged one or THE best ever, generous plates, way more creative dishes than 90% of our usual Mexican places, good water service, main waiter (owner?) was gracious and attentive. Interesting decor and not noisy. The desert tray was WAY more than expected. We ordered three among us to share and all were delighted.
The servers were very friendly. The menu was varied and offered something for most everyone. Their children’s meal selection covered the favorites. Indoor and outdoor seating. My husband’s mahi mahi dish was one of the best he’s had. The portions are generous. Neither of us could finish. The prices were typical for this area.
Another great meal from Frida’s. We came back to Anacortes in part to eat here again and we were not disappointed. Gracious and attentive servers, an old school decor that feels like Old Mexico, interesting art, and amazing food. And amazing tequilas! While waiting I tried a Clase Azul Reposado with a single ice cube, as recommended.
