Stopped in at GERE-a-DELI while waiting for our dog at Posh Puppies. My husband had half of a Reuben which was a little light on meat. I had the Gobbler which was excellent. We each had a cup of soup trying both the split pea and ham and the tomato bisque. Both were not very thick and creamy and were chunky with bits. Honestly, I wouldn't order the soup again. The coleslaw was excellent and the potato salad had a bit too much raw onion for our taste.
Stopped here for a quick lunch on my day trip to Anacortes. Good and friendly atmosphere. When I asked the staff for recommendations, they were genuinely kind and helpful — exactly what you hope for when trying a new spot. The sandwich was good. Bathroom needs a renovation.
I have always wanted to go here. Each time it's been during the Anacortes Arts Festival and the line was out the door. Today was the day, boy was it worth it. One of the best Reuban Sandwiches I have ever had. Based on that I could tell every other item coming out was as good. Wonderful service and atmosphere.
