Originally from Anacortes, I have lived in Tucson, AZ for over a year now. I came back to visit and went right to Real Tequila. If I were to compare my favorite dish I’ve had in Tucson to the Arroz Con Pollo at Real Tequila, Real Tequila wins every time. 10/10, there’s no comparison, BEST, AUTHENTIC, MEXICAN FOOD, PERIOD.

A very average experience, with nothing to stand out with the exception of a lack of salt in the food. I figure the target demographic are on a low sodium diet... It's not really Mexican food even though all the items on the menu are standard Mexican fare, it tastes like ingredients off of a big supply company. The salsa, out of a can or jar, as well as the sauces. It's just not authentic. It's not offensive, but it's not authentic in the least. Very generic.

After a tiring day, we dropped into the "Real Tequila" hungry and found an empty restaurant (but that was only due to the unusual time at which we came to eat and later the restaurant filled up)!
We are big fans of Mexican cuisine and the three different burritos were really delicious. There were also chicken nuggets with cheeky fries for the little one. It's great that the burritos tasted completely different ??
Afterwards, smoothies and fried...
