We ordered a combination dinner with a side of pork fried rice and a tub of wonton soup. We live an hour away and where we live there are no Chinese restaurants. We were passing by Auburn and decided to give it a try. We got home and realized that we did not get our tub of wonton soup but instead got a tub of egg drop soup which none of us like (that's $12 down the drain, literally). We didn't even get a portion of wonton soup that was supposed to come with our combination dinner. We called the restaurant and told them our order was wrong and they said we could come back but after telling them we live an hour away they said that if we come back they'll give us a free wonton soup. We are very dissapointed with our experience, especially the lack luster customer service.

Amazing food and very clean! Meats are very tender, pork fried rice has an amazing smokey flavor, soups are full of flavor and portions are decent sizes! I find this place to be one of the best I have experienced ! Will definitely make the trip here again.
Unfortunately, China house has been bought out by another owner and when that happened the quality of food has plummeted which is a bummer because China House was literally my favorite Chinese food location in Auburn. The prices are down but the quality is lacking severely!

I have been here 2 times. The first time the food was good. Mainly, I went there for the almond fried chicken. It was cooked as it should be. Moist chicken, crunchy breading and a bit of sauce drizzled over the top.The second time I believe they knew they overcooked the chicken and they should have thrown it away. I am not prone to exaggeration and this is exactly how it was.The bag seemed a little heavy when I left, but I didn't think much about it. I got home (about 7 minute trip) and there was gravy spilling in the bag. I carefully opened the container and it was full of gravy. You could barely see the upmost top of the breading. Biting into the chicken was like biting into a rubber eraser.So, I think they knew it was overdone and tried to cover it up with massive amounts of gravy.I can't trust them enough to go back.
