Isshin Ramen is a small, cozy restaurant in Auburn, serving delicious ramen and katsu don. The ramen is absolutely delicious, with both the spicy and black tonkotsu providing a first-sip satisfaction. The spicy tonkotsu ramen has a wonderful, mean bite to it. Other dishes are also amazing, including the katsu curry dons, which are very comforting. For appetizers, the gyoza are out of this world, delicate and full of subtle flavor, while the karrage and steamed pork buns are also amazing. During warmer months, the chilled tofu is a simple and clean option. The restaurant is an adorable place with wonderful music, and everyone who serves there is really nice, striking a good balance with customers. It is considered the best ramen in Auburn and the surrounding area.
