“We lived in Laos for 7 years and love Lao food. This is by far the most authentic tasting Lao food that we have found. We especially like their nem khao, Lao style sausages, and their jeow mak lin is the only real-tasting Lao tomato salsa that I have ever found outside of Laos or my wife's kitchen. They have done amazing job with their flavors and indoor casual atmosphere (feels very modern Vientiane chic). They seem to have a hard time keeping their khao piak noodles on hand so if you really your khao piak fix, be sure to call ahead. I have now been to Sweet Rice 5 times and they have never had the khao piak noodles. If you want really good Lao food and can't get over there, you can get your fix at Sweet Rice!“
“Service is great. Location is easy to find. Food is terrific. Moved from Southern California and needed a taste of home. This place is authentic Laos food! The Thai food is also good! Went three times in two weeks. The sai oua and papaya salad are my go too.“
“SO GOOD AND FRESH! I went here with my sis recently. She had the fried rice with crab and I had fried tofu and papaya salad. Rare to see such good quality food in Auburn. They are really nice friendly and accomodating as well. Will be returning soon for dinner.Dietary restrictions: vegan and vegetarian options“
