Listen, my husband and I have been getting strawberry rhubarb pie for his birthday for over a decade… and THIS pie is hands down the BEST strawberry rhubarb pie I have ever eaten! The crust is chewy and sweet, the latticework on top- beautiful. The balance of sweet to tart is perfect, and I can actually taste both the straws and the rhubarb, where in other pies the two flavors just blend together. Forget that it’s a bit more expensive than you will find at the grocery store....
We enjoyed everything we tried here, both sweet and savory. I recommend the small raspberry pie. There wasn’t signage for all of the baked items so I’m not sure that’s what it’s called, but whatever it was, it was delicious. We’ll definitely be back.
My mistake was walking into a spot where mosty artisanal breakfasts options are served. We had hoped to eat at a restaurant down the street but remodeling was currently going on. If you come here extremely hungry, want the 'unlimited coffee and service' this is not the place. The other restaurant was more that speed.
