I came here last week when I forgot to pack a lunch and I was blown away!!! How is this store not slammed all the time? I had a catfish fry with hush puppies and mac & cheese and collard greens. Greens were toothsome, not stringy or mushy, with just the right amount of spice. Catfish was flaky, crispy, down home just right! (Mac was good but I like my own recipe a little better ?‍♂️) Hush puppies were fresh, never frozen, and perfectly fluffy.

Food always excellent. Great, friendly customer service. Highly recommend! Also bought cookbook—no regrets. It’s a small, CLEAN place; nothing really stands out decor-wise. But the food, service, and cleanliness keeps me coming back!
