We had a delicious meal from start to finish, everything we ordered was fresh, seasonal and expertly crafted. Chef Noel is certainly flexing her creativity and technique! Especially appreciated the number of plant based options, that said the crazy fresh ling cod in green curry and the roasted duck were perfection. Wine pairings were on point and the service welcoming and gracious.

We stumbled across the bistro on a rainy Saturday. We wanted a beverage on the covered patio and were rudely told it wasn’t open. We are adaptable and chose to sit inside and for the rest of our dine in time we received snide remarks and an unpleasant experience. The only savor was half off the wine bottles.

Absolutely charming and comfy spot for a relaxing, intimate dinner in the heart of Bainbridge. Owner Nick Van Den Bosch was a font of culinary knowledge as he guided us through our excellent dinner, describing in great detail how each dish was prepared (all with locally sourced ingredients!) and how each selection wine best paired with our food. Our table chose the amazingly savory duck confit as a starter before moving on to the mushroom dumpling main, the latter an amazingly tasty mix of a variety of mushrooms in a delicious sauce (I wish I could've had an entire soup of just that sauce!). For my fellow Seattlites, it's a short 5-ish minute walk from the ferry terminal into the town, so it's well worth the trip over to the island to check out this place.

Came in on a Friday evening, and even though most the tables were filled, the ambience inside was cozy and warm. The food was wonderful, and according to the owner, Nick, who was there, much of it is sourced locally which is always a plus.
Service was exactly as you would expect, consistent refills, silverware changes if needed, and the owner is there if you ever want to hear the passion they have for their food and bistro.
Definitely recommended.

Had a delicious dinner with well informed server and enjoyable atmosphere outside with heaters. They have a new executive chef and I look forward to what she will have to offer on the menu in the future.

We called and they said we could sit if we arrived by 2pm.
We ran to get there in time and they could still not sit us. Please update your website since it says last seating is at 2pm.
Celebrated my wife and father’s birthday and were so glad we chose this bistro! Great addition to the Bainbridge food scene. From the very beginning the service was professional and accommodating. Very nice people. The food was excellent; we pretty much ordered the entire menu. Can’t go wrong! Concise and high quality. Enjoyed the Dwelley Cab and Kulshan Mexican lager to drink. They even brought complimentary desserts to celebrate the birthdays! Can’t wait to go back! Thank you.

I like the food here. The French toast bread could have been sweeter without the syrup. A Mac and cheese dish would have been nice to have on the menu.

Walking down the street looking for a place to eat, the AWWB drew us in with it's inviting vibe. Got two different cocktails and four dishes, all of which were so delicious and our usually chatty group was completely silent because we were gobbling up the excellent food. Loved the drinks too. Highly recommend!

I would love to share my recent dining experience at the restaurant I have been eager to try. The presentation of the dishes was visually appealing, the service was warm and friendly, and each dish we ordered exceeded my expectations. I was so engrossed in the moment that I regrettably forgot to capture a photograph of the dessert, which was equally delightful.

Bartender with the beard was extremely rude and gave us such an attitude about a simple question about the wine. We left before ordering. We went out of our way to try the wine and buy some bottles but certainly not after such an unpleasant interaction.
For being highly rated, the food was not to our tastes at all. We are spoiled to good food. We had the truffle butter bread, steak, and halibut along with wine flight.
The truffle butter was good, but the bread taste like it came from Walmart. Actually I think Walmart bread might be better.
The mystery steak had a good flavor, but was the toughest steak I’ve had in a long time. It came with a fried potato pastry that was ok by itself, but the sour cream looking substance on top was very off putting. Very strange flavor, almost like blue cheese.
Next the halibut, it was cooked well, but didn’t pair well at all with the tomato based sauce. Would have been far better with a pan Asian sauce.
The Oregon wines, well I’m not a fan and don’t have high expectation’, they didn’t disappoint.
Overall, very poor. But good service. Not sure how this gets such high marks from locals. Must be very different tastes than our own. .
