A genuine, old school diner(built in 1948 in Pennsylvania, moved to Bainbridge Island in 1996). Worth the trip from Seattle if you are after good diner food...

Great place for breakfast. I tried the Smoked Salmon egg Benedict and it was great. Since the homemade biscuits looked so good I had to have one of those as well. Super friendly service.

Waitress was very nice, food was great. The whole experience was very 50s American.

Very cute little diner! It can get a little busy but we didn’t have to wait in too long of a line. They have tic-tac-toe boards on every table which was a nice touch. We got the florentine benedict and country fried steak and felt like the food was pretty average especially given the price. (pls add more seasoning to food) However the biscuit and jam was so good! Coffee was classic diner coffee. Would not recommend getting the nitro cold brew, it felt a little water downed.

Madison Diner on Bainbridge Island is a charming spot that feels like a step back in time. The retro decor adds to its nostalgic appeal, and the menu is full of classic diner favorites. The food is hearty and satisfying, from fluffy pancakes to crispy bacon. The service is friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. Whether you're a local or just visiting, Madison Diner is a must-visit for a taste of classic American comfort food.

Make sure you get here earlier than you might think you need to. It's not a huge place, so if it's busy except to wait in line.

Expect a pretty darn good diner experience, not anything too fancy, but good food and a lot of it. I can't speak to the entire menu, but everything I had was good solid food.

Absolutely try the OJ, and the strawberry jam is worth getting if you're getting pancakes, toast or waffles.

It’s ok. Service is leisurely but friendly. Waited awhile outside while there were 3 empty tables. Walkable from the ferry.

Toast is real sourdough. Chorizo was meh, we asked for and received a refund for it. They serve Pepsi. Food came quickly once it was ordered.

Place is clean.
