This was some of the worst if not THE worst Asian food I have ever had. Do not go. I love Chinese food more than anything and I don’t even know what I just had
Best food ever.
The dinner portions were big, and everything was fresh. Prices are reasonable, and the wait wasn't bad at all. The hot and sour soup really hit the spot; I've been craving a good bowl of it, and I was so glad I came here. The entrées had phenomenal wok-hei, and the veggies were cut so that they had the right balance of crunch, flavor, and tenderness. I will come back here to eat next time I'm in the area!
Your typical strip mall restaurant space with quite good food. I always order the Kung Pau Chicken, hot off the wok. Wonton soup is very good, as is hot and sour soup. I may be a sucker for Chinese food, but this is a great meal for a fair price.
My wife wanted Chinese food for lunch so we pulled into this little gem unknown to us just how delightful and quaint this experience would be.
The hostess was very polite and accommodating. She even gifted my toddler with a complimentary plushy bear!
The food was a wonderful surprise, we ordered the broccoli beef, my wife's favorite, the beef was cooked perfectly, flavorful and tender. The veggies were as well, not over cooked. I ordered the General Tao's chicken. The sauce was thick and flavorful. The breading was the best part! The breading was light and crispy, not thick and doey. We also ordered pots tickers. Everything was same day fresh and very affordable. Absolutely delicious and we will certainly be back another time.
Good food!
BEST FOOD EVER… and service is very good and food tastes amazing!
There are so many bad reviews and I’m glad I didn’t let them keep me away! The food is very delicious and tastes fresh and authentic, not that I have been to china! John was so kind and helpful! We just moved here in august and we keep trying Chinese restaurants and they have been terrible with weird brown sauces on orange chicken and Pau’s is finally the winner for beautiful flavor and light and crispy chicken! The plain fries rice is light and delicious too!!! It’s just a little shop in a strip mall so no major atmosphere but still clean.

They charge way too much for basics. Their prices are more what you’d expect in a nice sit down restaurant rather than an order to go atmosphere. The serving amount of one entree is double the normal but they don’t do half orders. So you’re stuck with a bunch of extra food that you have to store quickly. But if you’re at a job site, there arn’t refrigerators to keep the food from going bad.
They are definitely fleecing the residents of Bainbridge Island. Too expensive for not do great.

This is a rather pricey chain restaurant, and the food was not worth the price.
The orange chicken I bought had an off texture and tasted rather odd. The dish I actually enjoyed was the Crab Wontons.
For the amount of money that can be spent here, nearby Mexican restaurants work out to a much better value.

The trouble with setting a time to meet someone on Bainbridge Island is that you have to factor the ferry into your plans. Some days, you show up and get right on - total time just over half an hour. Other days, there is a line way up the street and it may take several sailings before you get on. So, what do you do when you are looking forward to spending every possible minute with a new lady friend? My answer is to head over early. If everything works out OK, I might be way too early and not give her enough time to get ready. In that case, I find a place on the island to have coffee, read a book or get a meal.A couple of weeks ago, I had over an hour to kill and I was a little hungry. Pau’s Asian Kitchen looked like a good place to take care of both of those problems. They are tucked into a little shopping area across the street from the high school. Several teens were hanging out in the parking lot doing teenage stuff. I smiled at their celebration of their youth and found a parking spot near the restaurant.Pau’s is one of those casual places where you order at the counter, then select a table where they bring your food out to you. I was the only one there, which I took for a bad sign. The kid working the counter asked me what I wanted as soon as I came through the door. I told him that I wanted to read the menu for a few minutes. They had the usual American-Chinese dishes and the prices were reasonable. I selected Kung Pao chicken - a dish I usually like. The kid took my order, then my money, then told me that it would be 10 minutes to make the dish. He handed me a cup that I filled with Sprite from the soda machine.I picked a table that looked comfortable. The dining area was clean and in good order. I was disappointed to not find any soy sauce on the table. I looked around, but I did not see self service supplies anywhere. My food came out in the 10 minute time frame. The plate held a pile of chicken and bell peppers in a gooey sauce. The counter kid clearly had something better to do - he quickly set the plate in front of me along with a napkin wrapped around a fork. He disappeared so fast that I did not have a chance to see if I could get soy sauce or chopsticks. I guess I could have chased after him, but I was not in the mood for putting him out.The Kung Pao chicken was filling, but dull. I chewed up tasteless chunks of chicken and bits of green bell pepper. While I ate I thought about the pointlessness of living in a world with bad food. It occurred to me that the system where you pay first in a restaurant makes tipping stupid. If I wanted to protest the lackadaisical service and disappointing food, I would have to say something. That would require finding the kid. I was not in the mood. No wonder there were no other customers in the place.I finished up and took off. The good news is that my lady friend made up for the lousy dinner, so my night was a good one.
