My sister loved the fish tacos and onion rings! I tried fried oysters for the first time (but I've never had oysters). They were fishier than I expected, but thats prob how they were supposed to taste.

Was influenced by Instagram and came here for lunch while visiting Bainbridge for the day. The Lobster roll was so very good - great bread and good amount of filling. The fish & chips however were pretty lackluster with high prices. Additionally service was underwhelming (and we got there before the rush) - they were very kind and polite but forgot several items.

My family and I visited Bainbridge Island and had to visit Proper Fish for their British styled fish n chips. I’ve visited London before and Proper Fish does a great job in matching Britain’s Fish n chips even down to their mushy peas. Their lobster roll was delicious. A bit pricey especially for its sandwich size, but they were generous with their lobster portion and it’s to be expected for lobster to be expensive. Their chowder of the day was also delicious and filled with various seafoods. Highly recommend giving this place a try when visiting Bainbridge Island.

Perfect fish and chips, easy to recommend. As others have said, crazy big portions. I thought prices seemed a bit high at first, until I actually got my food and was presented with a piece of fish as long as my forearm along with a generous serving of fries. Couldn’t even finish it. The batter and fry was perfectly crispy, the fish fresh and juicy, and the fries were solid as well (less satisfyingly crisp than the fish though). I did think the mushy peas were too minty, but still pretty good and more of a preference thing.

Best fish and chips I've ever had in my life. Lobster roll was $33, kind of small, and a bit tasteless

Fish and chips! The fish 5/5. The batter is very light and works well. The fries could use improvement. Maybe get different fries? It taste baked and not enjoyable. Hard to describe it’s like reheating stale mcdonald fries… highly recommend you looked into alternative fries like beer battered fries. The smashed pea on the side were tasty. Overall expensive but good!

Came here after seeing it on alot of tiktok recommendations. You can't always trust what you see. But im telling you that the reviews are true. Got the fish and chips also the fish tacos. Both absolutely delicious and very fair priced. Our server/bartender Amanda was extremely sweet and helpful. Never saw the girl stand still always cleaning or helping someone. I would give here a 10/10

Great fish and chips. I knew it would be delicious when I saw the malted vinegar bottles on the table.
