my friends and I were visiting from out of town, we were so excited to try this place out. Until we were denied service for our vertical ID’s .. we are all over 21. Not sure why we couldn’t eat either, but menus were also taken. So we just got up and left and had no idea where else to go. So not the best experience as out of town visitors.
If you want to be served, make sure your ID is horizontal.

The lobster bisque was warm, delicious, and had the perfect size lobster pieces in it. I sat at the bar, early in the day, and I enjoyed the conversation and company. Lovely people and they make a great cocktail too. Take note: when you park, you'll need to walk to the street side to find the entrance.

The Islander offers a great atmosphere for dinner and drinks off the Main Street in Bainbridge. It’s small and quiet, perfect for chatting. Great menu, and select of wine, whiskey. A smaller selection of beer and cider. The food options we tried were excellent.

A disaster with the check that took 45min to sort out since they didn’t keep track of what each of us ordered. Food was good but the experience left us with a bad after taste.

Cute lil restaurant about 0.5 mile (5min walk) from town center. I think the burger was alright. I felt it was a lil steep for $18 and it didn’t come with cheese. But the service was good & the inside was nice. It doesn’t have AC & it’s attached to a mini mall but it feels like its own place.

Great spot. Quiet and cozy. Excellent service. Delicious food. Excellent whiskey served by trustworthy bartender. I wish I lived here because it's a beautiful neighborhood, and if I did I'd definitely be a regular. Try the lobster bisque. If you don't you've made a mistake.

So I am visiting here from out of town . The food was very good . The bartender was arrogant and rude and even said Happy Zombie Jesus day (referring to Easter). I'm undecided if I shall return. The food was very good.

I have been to The Islander a few times and it never disappoints. Tonight was made extra special due to the attentive and delightful service by Tyler. What an amazing server. Wonderful attitude and such a welcoming spirit. Will certainly keep recommending to my friends. Bravo!
