Got my order to go, but the inside was super cute. I have celiac disease so I'm always skeptical of ordering food to go and if the sandwich bread will be edible. Founder's was a rare find! The sandwich didn't disappoint and to top it off I had to call just to make sure the mini cookie I got was gf and it was. I was shocked- it was delicious! For my gluten free friends, I would recommend Founder's Mercantile!
I brought a friend here for the first time and her immediate reaction was how much she liked it. The atmosphere is warm and creative, especially the science wall near the windows, which adds a really unique touch.
I ordered an Americano made with beans from Compass Coffee, a local roaster, and it was excellent. The banana bread was delicious, and they also had a gluten-free option, which I appreciated.

My 1st visit. I looked at the menu before i went and knew i wanted the roast beef meal. They don't offer it anymore. I chose the avocado blt. I like the bread, lettuce is clean and crisp. Fine tomato. I would have wanted the bacon to be crisper. Good cookie. I bought the Candy Cane Lane Mocha frappe. The only bit of peppermint was crushed candy on top of the whipped cream. I might have tried a drop of peppermint extract in the mocha part. I rarely eat out and probably...
