Ate dinner here on their first night open after an ownership change and remodel. Giving them 5 stars because the food was great and everyone was super friendly. The clam chowder was absolutely amazing. They are still working out newly opening kinks but great spot and I look forward to going back soon.

Kid-friendliness: There were some kids there when we went. Totally kid friendly and lots of food options for small humans.

I wish I would have been there when Alma Merino was.. that sucks.. but EVERY single time I have been here my oysters have been the best of any place I have ever been. In fact; I am currently considering driving from South Florida just to come here and eat again. I miss the place and the old jukebox with Vince Gil, and my friend that introduced me to it, Larry Dunn RIP If I do, would someone buy me a few beers?, I might not have much money left, after that trip and I might need a job to get gas money to return home?

Wow! We were driving up to Seattle from Cannon Beach when we realized we were starving and had missed all the major town restaurants. Thanks to Google, we stumbled upon this little Gem and it turned out to be our lucky day. We loved everything about the place. The food was amazing. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. We felt like regulars. The atmosphere was perfect. I highly recommend this place to anyone local or passing through.

Great Lil seaside restaurant. Staff was very funny and foid was good! Very expensive $3 an oyster when they're farmed by the metric ton in the area. Kitchen needs to be cleaned and repainted badly, same with interior/exterior. Tables were very sticky. Other than that, I'd eat there again, unless we find oysters cheaper.?

I'm it sure how this place is a 4.4+I was lured in by the reviews and lack of options elsewhere. The lady working the bar and serving was nice enough, and the local drunks were friendly. The food however was below average. The deep fried oysters made me feel sick.

Quick review: Read many positive reviews, that IMHO were somewhat overrated. Yes, it is probably the only place to eat in a 20 mile radius. More bar with food. Waitress was prompt and friendly. Place had the old, local drinking hole feel and more than a bit well worn.Reviews of the place had pictures of a great looking clam chowder, but they were out.I had the fish and chips. Great frys, tasteless cole slaw. Fish were OK: good battering and frying, but the fish itself was a bit old. My wife had the shrimp basket and she enjoyed it.A bit expensive for the food and surroundings. I'd be happy to eat here again, but won't go out of my way. Still...best place in town .

Yes, I very boldly ordered the Willapa Whopper. A lovely local restaurant that's almost 100 years old. Love the story behind this place (as well as the burger) and the people who made this a memorable experience on our trip to the US. Thank you!

Great place! Timeless classic look on the outside...friendly people inside! Stopped in to have some chowder and loved it. Top notch service from good local people. Everythings clean and very good atmosphere.

Stopped in and had the shrimp basket. Best fries ever and the tartar and cocktail sauces were wonderful. What was the best part was how fun the locals are. They made us feel like a local. We didn't want to leave. We will be back. Damian and Denise

Great little breakfast spot, mostly for locals but was very welcoming. Oyster omelette was the best.

Had the patty melt and the basket of shrimp, easily fed 2. Fair prices, delicious food. Lots of information and cool pictures of local history on the walls, too!
