This is easily the best sit-down Mexican restaurant in Portland. Jalisco style food, great atmosphere, family owned, amazing drinks, always excellent service. One of Portland's best kept secrets.
Ok, so my wife, who is Chinese, and used to work at a Mexican restaurant while she was putting herself through college, LOVES this place. Everything we have ordered here is fantastic - even the refried beans and rice, which I usually find quite bland, are actually enjoyable here. We found the staff to be quite friendly as well, always ready to share a smile and a friendly comment as we poured gushing praise on them for the food. At first, when I saw the broken Taco shell on my dad's Taco, I thought this was going to be a bad experience...
