Solid indian food. We ordered a mix of 5 plates with 2 garlic naan plates for 5 people, which was just the right amount. Every dish came with rice, which was nice and fluffy. We ordered Lamb Chettinad Curry, Palik Paneer, Chicken Lollipop, Mango Fish Curry, and Chettinad Chicken Masala. I also ordered a mango Lassi as well which was nice and not too sweet or heavy on the yogurt. The chicken lollipop was pretty good but a bit small portion-wise. The lamb curry was decently tender with a good kick of spice, but the Mango Fish Curry was probably my favorite amongst the rest for its flavor.

We went for a family lunch buffet. The restaurant is usually busy with more than 30-45 minutes of wait time. They charge ~$25 per head for the buffet. The menu had a mix of north and south India food covering starter, main course and sweets. But the taste is 2/5. I found only 1 or 2 items good. They have a live dosa counter. They did not have a lot of space inside the restaurant. So they did not allow me to take the stroller with me. I had to carry my 3-month-old for the whole time. You can consider that if you plan to go with your baby. There is a lot of parking space outside the restaurant. Overall if you want to have variety you can go to this place, for ala carte I would not recommend this place.Vegetarian options: They have a lot of vegetarian options. But if you are strictly vegetarian you need to consider there are people who eat non-veg and can serve themselves veg. Restaurants cannot control that.Kid-friendliness: There is not a lot of space inside the restaurant and tables are placed close to each other. So kids might feel crowded. I had to carry my 3 year old for 1 hour as they did not let me take the stroller with me.

Hey there! So, I recently visited Anjappar after a few years and went there on a Monday afternoon. Luckily, it wasn't that crowded. Let me tell you, Anjappar truly sets the bar for non-vegetarian food. Their Mutton Biryani is absolutely great, you don't even need a side dish with it. Although, the mutton was a little chewy. I expected the Anjappar special chicken dry to be fried, but instead, it was more like a dry version of Chettinad chicken masala. However, the taste was still good. The only thing I wish is that they add a little less oil. But overall, it was all good.
It’s crowded on weekend. Better to be there at 12 noon. I was looking to know the buffet price and couldn’t find online. Hence adding a pic taken today with price for buffet. 22.99 for adult and 11.99 for kids.

My second time here because i was missing the taste of home. Got the goat biryani and vanjaram fish varuval. The flavors were good, especially the fish. The mutton pieces in the biryani had more fat than meat. I have never seen that amount of fat not removed in any biryani. Otherwise, everything else was good.

Takeout experience. Not satisfied at all. I picked up my order myself and the service was so slow. Despite the big waiting line the food is not deserve any waiting at all. Every food was pretty mediocre. The only dish that really surprised me is the one woth the rabbit meat. It tasted like someone put the whole rabbit through the grinder - the million of small bones in the dish. Disappointed.

Best buffet I have had in greater Seattle so far. Their meat is halal too, so a bonus for the Muslim/Bangladeshi community looking for some quality desi food.

Good gunpowder masala dosa, could have been spicier though.
Good place to eat but expect it to be crowded and noisy. The food is tasty and they have lots of dishes to try.
