First time here. We came for a birthday. Service was great. Food was delicious. Overall, had a great dinner. Prices a little high, but not outrageous for the quality. They left a nice birthday note on the table to begin with. Our meals were Penn Cove mussels; Cassoulet; Black Cod; the fish special and the crispy garlic chicken. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food. I would also recommend getting the bread service. It was slightly warm, rustic and came with a tasty rosemary butter....
Nice and relaxing and great variety in the lunch menu. Portions are good. Prices on OpenTable menu are about half the current prices. For example: lobster roll on OpenTable menu is $20. Actually, it's $39. Still worth it.
Bis on Main remains a lovely standby for special occasions and good business dinners. The service is wonderful and the food is delicious. It's a fairly loud space due to all the hard surfaces, so if you need to be able to have a quiet discussion it may not be the best but in every other facet it is a delight.
