“On Christmas Eve about 4 o'clock my family left an event in downtown Seattle and were really hungry. We looked on line for something on our way home to Lake Forest Park that was open. There weren't many choices and this place had pretty good reviews and was open. We were a little leary when we drove up. It was in an off location and small and modest. When we went in the staff was super friendly and welcoming. The menu looked great and we all ordered. After tasting the gorgeous food and generous cocktails, we were hooked. We usually do not return to places as we like to try something new, but we will definitely return to Botteco Brazil, Shoreline.“

“The food is good; but this is an authentic Brazilian restaurant. This is not a “sit down and be served” spot—the people who come here know what to do, and the restaurant caters to them (probably mostly Brazilian locals). If you expect that, you won’t be disappointed. Do not come here expecting the completely ridiculous pricing you will see at places like fogo de chão.

I had a fabulous experience—I came in, I served my food, it tasted authentically Brazilian, I got some dessert, listened to a little bit of the music, people-watched, and got out. The very nice hostess quickly understood what I needed and helped me out. I got a delicious flan for dessert—a very large helping!

Will definitely come back.

The environment was clean but in some respects could use a refresh. Nothing that makes much of a difference.“

“Coffee tasted great - added flavors were perfectly balanced so it wasn’t too sweet and I could still taste the coffee. Also the coconut bun was the best pastry I’ve had in recent memory. And the playlist was fire. 11/10 would recommend to a friend.“

“I had such a great experience at Kitanda. I’ve been coming to this store for a while, but now my experience got even better. The lady that speaks great english and portuguese at the main cashier, she is great and has great customer service skills. She went above and beyond when I asked her for a great quantity of cheese bread at last minute request this morning. I had my dog with me and she was super nice about it. The açai it’s probably the best one I’ve ever had, and definitely recommend the dulce the leche cheese bread. I recommend this place to all my friends, definitely worthy it to try !!!“
