Really happy to find this place. Went on a busy Saturday night. The place was packed! The service was amazing. Super nice staff that were working very hard.I got the bacon tofu soup as suggested by two staff with the kalbi combo. I will be getting this again. My dining partner had the kimchee pork soup and while it was great said she’d also be getting the bacon next time. The short ribs were incredible. The banchan was filled often, and even came with a fried fish which was delicious.

Cho Dang has the best Korean food in the area by far. I came with my family one night and while some of them ordered the bibimbap, I ordered the tofu soup/kalbi combo. Despite being priced at what’s considered Bellevue prices, I still felt like we got our money’s worth for it. The facilities itself was very clean and the staff were extremely attentive; they will refill your side dishes the moment they notice you’ve finished it!While I look forward to trying their bibimbap next time, I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for some very good Korean food.

Cho Dang is an excellent Korean grill, but at Bellevue prices.Cho Dang does just about everything right. I really have no complaints about the cleanliness, service, food, and atmosphere. The restaurant is simple, clean, and easy to navigate. Service staff are extremely attentive and courteous. Banchan were constantly refilled throughout the meal, as were tea and water. My problem with Cho Dang is that they charge fine dining prices for lunch-counter Korean food. Ok, it's a step above lunch-counter quality, but I can make soondubu jjigae at home so being asked to pay nearly $20 for a bubbling pot of tofu is... frustrating. $40 for a lunch combo of kalbi and jjigae hurts the wallet. So when I nitpick the baechu-kimchi as being bland and the kalbi as being only big enough for one person, it mostly boils down to the price I'm being asked to pay for a lunch without tablecloths at fine-dining prices.I'll go back to Cho Dang Tofu, it's good food, but I'll get something I can't make at home for an eighth of the price.

Cho Dang is one of my favorite tofu soup spots in town. They have a great variety of soups and bibimbap with BBQ plates, so you can mix and match for the table. The combos are a good value. I'd say this is a great spot for a casual lunch or dinner date, or dinner with family or friends. Service is great, don't be shy about asking for more sides - or tea to put in your hot stone bowl once you're done with your rice.

Clean atmosphere & friendly staff. Located right next to mud bay in Bellevue area.We normally get to go from here after we stop at Mud Bay, but in our most recent visit we dined in and got the Dolsot Bibimbap, Budae Jjigae, Mixed Tofu Soup! The banchan was delicious, they give you a little fried fish which wasn't too salty, but watch out for tiny bones! My favorite is the Korean bean spouts & cucumbers! Unlimited banchan with dining in which is nice!In the past we have gotten the combos, pretty decent value if you're sharing. I like their Kalbi & Bulgogi combos (A & B on the menu).Overall, super yummy, authentic, decently priced and greet service.

Pretty good. Ordered the kimchee beef tofu soup and the galbi combo. It was busy so I received the soup before I received the rice and sides, but it shortly followed. I ordered spicy but it wasn't really spicy. They refilled the sides as soon as I requested it.

My wife and I tried the intestine soft tofu and seafood soft tofu. Each dish was outstanding. The stone-cooked rice served alongside was nothing short of a masterpiece. Among the side dishes, the kimchi and cucumber stood out for their quality. We were impressed by the quick service, with our food arriving promptly. Initially, the side dish portions seemed small, but the attentive staff frequently replenished them, ensuring a satisfying meal. The restaurant's spacious and clean environment, coupled with exceptional service, made our visit truly memorable. My only critique would be that the intestine in the soft tofu was overly soft, lacking the chewiness I anticipated. Despite this, the overall dining experience was very satisfying.

A restaurant better than Korea that I often stop by when I go to my house.

Went with friends, very cozy atmosphere. The food is quite pricey although the infinite side refills helps offset the cost. I recommend simply getting a tofu soup and slowly eating sides + soup + rice together.
