Best place for Mapo Tofu! I get it everytime. But everything else I’ve tried on the menu is just as good. Servers are really nice even if English isn’t the best. Food always comes out quick even when there are lots of people. Always a positive experience here.

Great place. The lamb was incredibly tender, everything was fresh and clean. Atmosphere is more cosy than these types of places usually are. Highly recommend.

We've had several large family get togethers at Gourmet Sichuan. The staff was gracious and able to accommodate our seafood requests with precoordination. Food was delicious. Service was very nice too. Have been wanting to try out the menu on a normal occasion. Tonight, we tried the Kung Pao chicken, pea vines with garlic and house special chow mein. Food arrived quickly, portions were good sized, tasted great-- we will be back! Alot more dishes I'd like to try. Glad to have a good Chinese restaurant nearby

Terrible Greasy food!!! Stay clear!! The waiter and staff were rude and gave me a stare. I was asking the waiter when the food would come they said 30 minutes then 1 hour comes by no food then 1 hour 30 minutes in I got soggy old chicken. What a terrible place.

We ordered the sweet n sour chicken and almond chicken. We requested sauce on the side. Both sauces were tasty and not too heavy.

Terrible service, terrible food. One time, the beef is still raw. They are not friendly to me most of the times when I went there, and for no reason at all. I do not recommend people eating at this restaurant.

Very upscale Chinese. Our first time here. The waiter took away our menus and returned with the "American" menu. He said the other one was the "traditional" menu, with things on it we wouldn't like such as chicken and duck chopped up with the bones. We wanted to try the hot pot, with fish and shrimp and our choice of veggies. It was excellent, but watch out! It's really spicy! One bite of cabbage nearly did me in. Also had the very good dan dan noodles, much fancier and tastier than the same at Din Tai Fung or Dough Zone! We'll be back but we'll be sure to ask to have them cut back on the hot chile peppers a bit.

I went there for lunch. The grilled fish was great at 14.95 per pound, almost $50 for a whole fish, what a big fish! I ate only head tail and edge of the fish and request remains to go and the waitor wrap it up for me inside the counter. When I was back and open the to go fish for dinner, I found out just a little remained, where are the other portion? I just ate the head tail and edges in the restaurant. Better take care of the to go box by yourself to have everything left in the box. Everything is paid by you, they should not steal the food away by any reason or any tricks!!!

It is a restaurant that you have to dig out your liked dishes. Some can end up to be part of your favorite lists on the east side, some can be mediocre. The restaurant is a bit hard to find even though the square feet are quite large. It is under the I90 bridge where you pass two big car dealerships, then make the enter right after the entrance when you passed McDonald's. It is very easy to miss the entrance and then you had to make a u-turn later if you missed it. The name outside of the restaurant is still the previous restaurant which can be another reason to cause misunderstanding to the customers. There are about 20-30 good size tables with loose space. It is normally pretty empty as we went there a couple of the times. The taste is actually not bad. The spice level is average level in szchuanese food. We went for the large portion fish head dish with pancakes. It is a bit too salty for me, but my boyfriend really liked the pancake. Someone who is from northwestern China would probably like this dish, but there are quite a few fish bones which you have to be patient and careful while eating.

First, it is no longer Shibuya Sushi Bar and Grill. It is now Gourmet Sichuan Chinese Restaurant. I arrived around 2:30p, just missing the lunch specials. No worries. I entered the restaurant and was instantly transported to China with the decor, soothing instrumental music that you'd hear while getting a massage, and the welcoming friendly staff. I got sat at a small two person table, as I was by myself, but was moved to a slightly larger booth (4 person) after placing my order, so that there was room for the food. The booth had Asian-style cushions on wood. Very beautiful setting. That tables were set up with napkins and good quality chopsticks. The light fixtures and art on the walls were exquisite and fitting the decor. I ordered Kung Pow Chicken, Seafood Chow Mein, Chicken Egg Rolls (they were unfortunately out of Crab Cheese Wontons), and a side of white rice. The Kung Pow Chicken was amazing. Best KP Chicken I've ever had. Full of flavor, perfect texture, veggies, sauce, etc. Definitely will order again. Seafood Chow Mein was perfect! Noodles were cooked perfectly, exactly right amount of seasonings so it was absolutely delicious, seafood was cooked just right, and veggies were just right. Only suggestion on this is to add a wee bit more seafood. It seemed like the noodle to seafood ratio was slightly lacking. But other than that, it was perfect. Will definitely order again. The Chicken Egg Rolls were amazing! Three large egg rolls cut in half. Perfect amount of ingredients, flavor, and cooking time. Came with a side of sauce to dip them in. Sweet and sour with a slight amount of ketchup. Tasted great with the egg rolls! And I'm not much of a ketchup fan. The side of white rice was great! Right amount of cooking, great flavor, perfect texture and stickiness. I may add some of the sweet and sour sauce to it later. Or eat it plain. Great either way. I had a mug of Asahi beer and cup of water to drink. Asahi is delicious as always. The service was top notch! Very friendly, attentive without being pushy or annoying, and very respectful and courteous. Total came out to about $40, plus the $10 tip that I added. It was $50 well spent! I will ABSOLUTELY return here again for great food! The woman working was very thankful for the compliments and invited me back again in about a couple when the new menus come out. Definitely excited to return, and definitely reccomend!!

That was a fun visit! We used to come here for sushi before those guys turned into being a Chinese restaurant. So we came, get settled, ordered beer, and then realized, that the restaurant has changed! The server was extremely nice, gave us recommendations regarding sushi places in area (which we followed and were very happy:) next time we will try food there for sure :)

I don't have anything bad to say about this place. All the dishes we got here were absolutely delicious! The portion sizes were also really big as well. We came here on a Monday night and it was pretty empty so the service great and quick. For a family of 4, we spent around $90! I would for sure come back again!
