I drive quite a few miles to get some Monkey bread and Apple crunch bread often. It's that good. The staff is attentive and polite. They even offer samples.
A sensory sensation!
Ryan is a good employee. The bread is good. I like the salted caramel cookie. Their sourdough is also good.
Ryan’s my favorite ❤️❤️❤️ hes so considerate and pretty
Great Harvest has a deserved reputation for quality food. This place has a hit & miss history with me, though. Wife loves the bread and Saturday cinnamon buns so I am a frequent visitor. I have a hard time with a staff that seems either overwhelmed or just plain disinterested. I never feel like anyone really wants to be here or has any enthusiasm towards the customer. ie; I've never once been offered a sample when I come in. However, there does seem to be an interest in getting me to 'Answer one last question' at checkout with a little something extra.
The experience could be better.
hot melty breakfast sandwiches on warm soft bread for $6, really hits the spot. had a cream cheese pastry, not too sweet, just right.
no indoor seating, but there are some covered benches outside.
I use to love their apple crunch, grew up eating it. But recently I tried it again for nostalgia, and it barely has any apple in it at all. It’s not the same as it used to be. Might not buy it anymore until they add more apple again. It’s nice that you can try different breads in the shop and add butter and honey. See photo: no apple at all in most of the slices. It used to be that most slices had at least 2-3 chunks of apple :(
I’ve been here a few times now and everything is great! Today, I got a mixed berry scone and it was excellent. They always have great customer service and will often let you try something before buying it.
Absolutely delicious bread! My family's personal favorite is the 'monkey bread' although the cinnamon chip bread is a close second! Friendly staff and great cookie options. Just be prepared to wait depending on the time and proximity to special events

1 star until they learn how Google works. I’ve visited 3 times and it’s been closed. Google harasses you to update your holiday hours and this company refuses to take action.
Otherwise they make amazing bread and all the employees are kind and prompt to provide service.

This Great Harvest doesn't do well with service or their bread and they pressure you to tip them for buying bread by directly asking "would you like to tip 18 or 23%?" on that touchscreen that let's you choose how much to tip (but they turn it towards them? What the heck?).
The bread at the Bellingham Great Harvest is so much better, the bread here is dry and old / this location is stingy with things like cheese in their "3-cheese" bread to the point the bread at QFC next door is actually tastier / more reasonably priced.
The cashiers are a bunch of kids who don't pay any attention to you until they try to pressure you into tipping them.

I do not normally include bread in my diet so it is a special treat when I eat bread. I tried the Dakota bread today. I think it is the best bread I have ever eaten.
Very exclusive location
