Ordered milk tea with taro ball and milk tea with boba and puff cream.
Both drinks were okay. The taro balls weren’t great and I wouldn’t order them again. The salty puff cream was a little odd too.
The line is always incredibly long for this place, especially at peak times but in general too. Minus two stars because waiting in line with the extremely strong smell is nauseating.
Service was good. Our drinks were made pretty fast and the staff was nice taking our orders.
I feel like it’s kind of pricey now though.
If I’m in the area, I might stop by!
Stopped by Happen Lemon inside Bellevue Square Mall on a packed Saturday afternoon. The place was buzzing with people, which made it tough to stay in line with two little kids in tow. I was a bit disappointed to see their food safety rating wasn’t as high as I expected for such a busy location. We were really hoping to try the bubble waffle, but were told it’d be another 15–20 minute wait, which just wasn’t realistic with kids. The drinks were decent, but the overall experience felt a bit chaotic. Probably better to visit during a quieter time if you want the full menu and a smoother experience.

The past two experiences here are what has caused me to post this review, last time I offered through the app and went inside after to wait for my order. The amount of time had passed and it still wasn’t there, when I asked all the lady said was they had canceled my order because they didn’t have the taro ball. She said that they had notified me (which they didn’t) and that just needed to replace my order. I was out of time. The reason I did mobile order was to not waste time before my shift. Which is exactly what happened here. I sat in the store (no one else in there) and they didn’t even ask if I was waiting for an order or something.
Finally, today I had placed another order was was waiting for my order. The man over the counter had called out the number before mine (sequential order) and then right before my number he called the next.
He then told me they leave instore pick ups on a different shelf and I need to come up to them and tell them (rather than their system they already were doing). The drink was already ready, and yet again they had found a way to waste time when the whole point of mobile ordering is to make it easier and quicker than in store.

Disappointing. The topping I paid for was missing. The cashier misled me by stating“there is no sugar in the drink” which somehow was a code for “regular sugar” - way too sweet! They need to redesign the menu that indicates which drinks can be made less sweet. The staff who handed me the drink was super sweet and that’s the only sweetness I appreciated from this store.
Good food, sad that they have a poor rating on food safety
I visited this place today for first time. Customer service was excellent.
I had a waffle with no dipping sauce and a lemonade/mango drink. It was sweet, I asked for 75% sugar, next time I will do 50%.
I would definitely revisit when I come back to Washington! 😊
I waited 10 minutes in line only to find out that they didn’t have the flavors I wanted and had stopped taking waffle orders just 2 minutes before it was my turn. No one announced anything about waffles, nor were any unavailable items crossed off the menu. I’m currently pregnant and was starving. I was so disappointed that I left without ordering anything—actually in tears. Such a disgusting experience.
Drinks and bubble waffle are amazing. But the line is huge and it can mess inside
Very delicious but not sure why they close the bubble waffle station 30 min before closing I would understand 15min before
this place is so slow and they often get your order wrong. the drinks taste fine though

This review is about the cashier. Rude and not responsive. Irritated when told I want light sugar instead of regular sugar during ordering. Before I told her to scan my membership code and check using gift card she just left. When returned she reacted like she hates me.
They always mess up orders!

This place is a great spot for a boba or any other snack. You can customize the sweetness and ice content to your liking. The service is also really fast.
