I have a limited sampling of their menu, because I've only had their lunch. I work close by, and when I need a soul break I come here. Everything on their menu is quite wonderful and especially reasonably priced. I usually get the Bento Box because you get quite a lot for your buck. $18.00 dollars is a good deal for high overhead Bellevue, and the food is varied, colorful and delicious. They've worked out their lunch rush system quite well, and I get my food promptly and efficiently. I sometimes get the Katsu Curry, but they used to serve it with those amazing fukujinzuke pickles which are a common side to the dish. Not anymore. I want them back! I also recommend the nabeyaki udon, the shitake makes the dish.
Hi the cashier at checkout asked for tip and no one do this in the USA ,she was rude and asking me why I don’t pay the tip ,I didn’t pay tip because they already charged a lot

Lunch special bento box is delicious and affordable. I appreciate them giving options. You can choose either sashimi or 6 pieces of a California roll. Miso soup comes with.
Every other day or so they change to pork katsu or tempera as the mail protein. I heard from friends the tempera is very good. Sadly the pork katsu for all 6 of us was too tough (especially for the elders’ teeth)
The restaurant was very busy and perhaps understaffed the night we visited, but we had a reservation. The sushi was excellent. The individual portions are large. The toro was literally melt in your mouth. We ordered a lot for four people, and I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable it was. Recommended.

Wow! My son and I just happened upon Kiku Sushi at about 11:30am. The place is in a great location, the staff is very kind and the place is very inviting. It’s seems that everyone know about this hidden gem. They had some great lunch specials but we chose the Bento Box which was very popular. They sat us down with a kettle of green tea. A waitress then brought some miso soup and a bowl of rice for each of us. We both decided to order the Bento box. It was amazing. It came with tempura, veggie and shrimp, baked salmon, sashimi and a couple other yummy things. All of this for only $16 each…. OMG! It was amazing. They had so much on the lunch special menu. I’ll be excited to try everything. But I will definitely have the Bento box again… soon. lol

I have no problems with Koreans running Japanese restaurant: but when we order “Niku” tofu entree…it does not mean only Tofu!!! Regardless : arguing with our client was extremely poor service!!!

Food was not bad but the yakisoba that we ordered is a little too sour for our taste, not what we expected. The servers are polite and nice. They have the old fashioned type of handwritten check to itemize the food we ordered, the handwriting is hard to read though.
