Food taste is about average. Carpet and table are pretty dirty, cups and plates have visible food crumbs. Even worse, the tiger skin chicken feet had a very long hair wrapped on it.
I would not suggest this restaurant to anyone.

The food is very bad and I will not try it again. It's like they are using frozen dim sum to serve us. We ordered many foods but 10 mins later, some foods got cold and the Dumpling's skin was very hard. Shuimai became very hard. The food isn't worth its price.

Terrible dining experience at Royal Kitchen Seafood Restaurant. They closed out our bill before all our dishes even arrived, which felt very unprofessional and disrespectful. The service was poor, with staff showing little regard for customers. When we checked the bill, we found that they had overcharged us, resulting in a confusing and inaccurate total. After pointing out the issue, they refunded $36.25, but the whole experience left a bad impression. I wouldn't recommend this place based on the lack of transparency and poor service.
The dining experience was very bad. It felt very unprofessional and disrespectful for them to pay the bill before all our dishes were served. Poor service attitude and cold attitude of staff towards customers. When we reconciled the bill, we discovered that we had been overcharged and that the accounting was confusing and inaccurate. After we pointed out the problem, they refunded us $36.25, but the whole experience was still terrible. Really do not recommend this restaurant based on opaque bill and poor service

Unfortunately, I can not recommend this restaurant. As others have noted the food comes out fast but this is because they are keeping the dim sum warm in back. It doesn't taste freshly cooked at all. There are cleanliness issues. The soy sauce bottle on our table had old crusted over food on it. It was obviously not wiped down recently. The wall next to our table, as well, had food splashed on it. One of our items, the Shanghai buns, tasted off. When we mentioned to the person in charge and asked to exchange for another item, they refused! They said they had served many of these dumplings and so basically were saying that WE were the problem. Sorry but my wife is FROM Shanghai and she would expertly know if they do not taste right. They were not edible. Perhaps other guests were just too shy to say something? The buns also stuck hard to the paper they were served on so you could not eat them without completely tearing them apart. This was the case with many items. I think it's because they are kept under a warmer so they end up basically getting glued to the paper under the dim sum. Not good. Lastly, they have this horrible chime that dings loudly every time someone gets near the door. It was super disruptive to the atmosphere. During the busy time we went, it was dinging every 30 seconds or so. Why is the chime needed when there are literally 20 people packed into the waiting area??? It should be clear that there are customers IN THE RESTAURANT without needing a chime dinging loudly at your guests every 30 seconds. I could understand the bell during a slow time but not then. In closing, there are better dim sum options in Bellevue.

Food is mediocre but good place to get your dimsum fix if you’re on the east side. Fast no frill service. The skin of the dimsum is too thick soI just eat the fillings.

Their dim sum was very good, if you know what you’re ordering. We go to dim sum quite frequently. We got a little bit of everything. The atmosphere was ok. The service was ok. We got the spare ribs, pork and shrimp shu mai, bbq baked pork bun, house vermicelli noodle dish, custard egg bun, egg tarts, beef meatballs, stir fry green beans, and more. I would say if you like soup dumplings xiao long bao this places were not my favorite, nor was their potstickers or egg tarts. I would say if you come here know what you are ordering or have someone who knows this place come with you. I would say the best things were the pork spare ribs, shu mai, egg custard bun, and vermicelli noodle dish.

Their 干炒牛河 was good, oil was not leaking and you can see the charred marks on the chow fun so the fire was the right intensity when cooking this. The dim sum is good but some days (not often) it'll fall short. For example, the 虾饺 skin will come off easily when it should be springy or some of the fried dim sum is still cold inside. Things like that but I'm assuming its because it gets busy here and it really does.
That being said, the wait times are around 20-30mins. But usually still worth the wait and the food comes to the table quick. Sometimes as mentioned above, unfinished.
I still very much recommend this place for dim sum and entrees.

I'm a bit scared to drop such a nice review for this place, because currently it is just the right amount of busy and hoping that people don't read this, swarm it, and as a result make it crappier (I'm talking about you Crystal Lake trailhead). In terms of flavor and texture, consistency of such flavor and texture over dozens of visits and speed of acquiring such from the time to order to in your mouth delicious explosion (often sub minute), it is the best dim sum in the Eastside by far. Enjoy, please don't all go here and overcrowd it.

Actually, it's 3.5 ⭐️ only. Food came pretty fast. Good taste, big enough serving and reasonably priced.
But my wife is pure Chinese who has experienced authentic Chinese food around. I gave it a 4 for the fried rice.
Wheelchair ♿️ accessible and willing to go back.
Wheelchair accessibility: We easily rolled in but didn't get to go to the rest room.
