⭐ 5/5 – Absolutely Incredible Peruvian Food at Lamar Bellevue! ⭐
Lamar Bellevue is hands-down one of the best Peruvian restaurants I’ve visited in the U.S. The flavors are authentic, vibrant, and beautifully presented — every dish tastes like it was made with love. The staff is welcoming, the vibe is warm, and the menu truly highlights the richness of Peruvian cuisine.
I was so happy to see they offer great vegetarian options, which is rare for Peruvian...read full review
Delicious Peruvian food, nice atmosphere and outstanding service, the best of the northwest!!
La Mar Bellevue is by far the best Peruvian restaurant in the Pacific Northwest. They opened a couple of months ago and you gotta check it out!
The food is outstanding. I particularly recommend the tiradito Bachiche, the crab causa (with dungeness 🦀!), the nigiris nikkei criollo, the pulpo anticuchero and the pescado a lo macho 👌🏼👌🏼
Believe me, it’s gonna be a unique culinary experience with fresh ingredients, vibrant flavors, and excellent service....read full review

La Mar Cocina Peruana in Bellevue offers a phenomenal experience with incredible food and outstanding service. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, elegant, and modern, closely resembling the coastal vibe of Lima. Guests are welcomed with genuine smiles, making them feel at home.
The menu features classic ceviche, often described as potentially the best outside of Peru, with incredibly fresh fish marinated in a bright leche de tigre. Main dishes like the lomo saltado, with beautifully tender beef and wok-charred flavor, and the arroz con mariscos, rich and aromatic with perfectly cooked seafood, are exceptional. A standout dish is the pulpo crocante, or crispy octopus, known for its tender texture and crunchy, charred exterior. Other enjoyed dishes include chicken skewers, patatas fritas, and creamy burrata.
Drinks are also a highlight, featuring expertly balanced pisco sours, refreshing passion fruit variations, and fantastic mocktails, cocktails, and wine, including Espresso Martinis. Desserts like the light, silky lucuma mousse, rich chocolate cake, and perfect Tres Leches Cake provide a satisfying end to the meal.
Service is top-notch, attentive without being intrusive, with staff knowledgeable about the menu and eager to make suggestions. The restaurant is a gem, delivering a full cultural and culinary experience, ideal for an intimate dinner or celebrating with friends. Parking validation is a convenient bonus, as parking is available below the restaurant.
