Lady Yum - Bellevue Square

I normally don’t like macarons but I absolutely LOVE lady yum. They are expensive but they are worth every penny. I buy a box everytime I land in seattle and everytime I leave seattle. I went to Paris and still couldn’t find macarons that came close to lady yum.

Some of best macaroons I've ever had. A bit pricy, but definitely worth it. Bought a 25 variety pack. Nearly gone 3 days later. 😋

Kid-friendliness: Cute place, bright colors, delicious cookies, and patient staff. What kid wouldn't like coming here?

Wow! Such a fun and amazing experience here. I came here with my boyfriend as a little mid day treat, and my goodness were we spoiled. We both had delicious macarons. I got a lavender honey macaron and my boyfriend got the chocolate.

We both took advantage of the $5 macaron and bubbly deal, and we also left feeling a little bubbly, haha.

I’m going to specifically call out Fredrick for his incredible service and fun demeanor. We had so much fun here.

Whether you’re looking for a sweet treat, a good date spot, or a little pick me up, Lady Yum is the place to go.

Macarons are a favorite food of mine. I’ve tried many macarons from many places. Those other macarons do not hold a candle to Lady Yum’s. Their macarons are actually on my top 10 list of favorite foods of all time. They make my soul happy. My husband picks me up some every time he travels to Seattle and although I miss him when he travels…I’m also kinda happy when he goes because he gets me treats from there.

This location has the most discourteous staff. We stopped by on 11/11 (Monday) afternoon. The woman/staff with dark hair was extremely condescending and was clearly racially profiling us. She was rude and the atmosphere was very cold and unwelcoming. We love the Kirkland branch and go there quite often. After our experience at the Bellevue location, we will discourage anyone from stepping foot in there. The macarons are not worth the rude behavior by staff.

The macarons are great. I’ve bought them from their other branches dozens of times, but the staff at the Bellevue Square location is extremely rude. They were very impatient today, and were rude the last time as well. It’s almost as if they want to make you feel unwelcome. This will be the last time I give this store my business. I’d gladly drive to downtown Kirkland to buy macarons from their Kirkland branch from now on.

Love the macaroons here. However, the staff here’s got 0 chill, she’s always agitated for some reason and rushes us into ordering. She clearly hates her job.

We are from Tennessee, here in Seattle for work and dropped in to try the macarons here. They were amazing! Some of the best that I've ever tasted. Made a second trip here before we left. They were that good!

A fancy dessert place with a beautiful, calming atmosphere and, of course, great desserts. It was a bit pricey, but we came here to celebrate a birthday, and it was worth the expense.

The first time we went in ( Saturday before last) we thought maybe the gentleman working the counter was just having a bad day as there was no smile, no interaction, no response, nothing from them. We went back this weekend ( Saturday August 3rd) and it was the same gentleman. He looked generally pissed off to be there, didn't speak a word or acknowledge us in any way just rolled his eyes while he packed the cookies. Now if they are mute, the lack of verbalization is fine, but their general demeanor communicated disgust even without words. No one welcomed us into the store nor thanked us. It was super uncomfortable and we won't be back to the Bellevue location. I buy Lady Yum a lot ( even online) and have always had a great experience in person, especially at the Seatac Airport and Seattle locations. These were very disappointing and frankly uncomfortable visits . Maybe a customer service refresher would be good, or maybe job fit should be considered. The cookies were wonderful as always. Thank you.

We stopped in on their anniversary weekend for treat and gift macarons and were impressed with their service and atmosphere. Since Trophy shuttered their Bravern location and opened up a small takeout-only spot in Bellevue Square, we were pleased to have a nice (relatively) quiet place to sit down and enjoy a dessert. Lady Yum's macarons are consistent and creative. I wish they weren't chock full of food coloring and had slightly less cloying fillings (both par for the course with macarons), but we overall enjoyed our treats and will likely be back sometime. The employees are very friendly and accommodating, providing extra helpful information and graciously answering questions.

Dietary restrictions: Most flavors are GF, but there aren't any vegan or nut-free desserts here.

We’re here visiting from out of town. The store caught my eye and we ended up stopping in to get 6 macarons. I truly wasn’t impressed and they were all stale. Very hard and chewy, rather than the light and airy a macaron typically is. Super disappointed for the price we paid.
