Lil' Jon's has been around forever it seems. My wife and I went to breakfast today and surprisingly it was crowded for a Thursday. We sat in a booth by the window. The seats cushions had long been worn away. The server was a bit gruff but efficient. Our cups of coffee were never empty for long. The food was good portion size for the money and met expectations on flavor. I had Lil Jon's breakfast dish that was comprised of a single egg, two pieces of sausage and...
Some other food can definitely be mediocre but their breakfast fare is very good and ready very quickly. They make a sincere effort to connect with people, and it creates a welcoming environment. The plastic booths and decor feel a little worn and dated but that's simply reflects their priorities and their commitments to good food and good service. They are not inexpensive, but they are pretty reasonable for being on the Eastside.
