Fantastic meal! Brought out of town guests, they loved it. I'm glad I made reservations because I watched many walk ins turned down because they were booked. Service was lovely. We received soup and pitas with oil. Nice touch. Only downside, please clean/update the menus they have seen better days.
I've been to MK 4-5 times but have not been in over 10 years. The food is authentic and excellent. Juts like I remebered. Service was good and we happened to be the first customers with an early dinner.I need to explore more of the menu but we got schawarma shish tawook and the meza plate. That lingering garlic flavor takes a few days to get rid of but well worth it. I applaud the consitency here and hope they continue with their authentic cuisine.
Sure it’s called “Old Mediterranean Kitchen” now, but this place has been a staple for us for about a decade. Food 10/10, staff 12/10, ambience 10/10. Chicken shish-tawook and a Zahra is the same order we’ve had for years and never disappoints. They also do catered take out which is nice. That lemon rice is amazing with the grilled chicken.
