Ordered iron pot fish, beef noodle and eggplant/potato/pepper stir fry. All good! I like the fish! Will come back to try other dishes.

I have dine in this establishment multiple times. The food is always fabulous. They had improved quite significantly. I highly recommend the the sweet and sour pork, pork rib with string beans, braised goose, and the dumpling.

Had a craving for noodles, I wanted the Korean beef noodles but they where out so they made pork ribs in a soup with flat noodles and bok choy. Broth was delicious, I eat a lot of southern Chinese food and I thought that they were the best with their noodle soups and broths but this broth was really good and had a unique flavour?? It was not chenpi or black bean or star anise what was it??. The pork ribs were very, very good, cooked perfectly great flavour, but most important the cut was not just pure pork but had a perfect proportion of tendon and fat to provide the perfect flavour and almost crunch mouth feel. The bok choy was fresh, crispy and not overdone which I am so grateful for. My only complaint would be that I would of liked more bok choy to balance out the dish. So if u need a noodle fix I definitely recommend this dish.

The old-style Guobao Pork is made very carefully, and I personally feel that the taste and seasoning are very rigorous. The liver tip is delicious. It would be better if the liver tip was more tender. I will come back to try more dishes in the future and will continue to revise my reviews. It's rare to eat delicious northern cuisine in Seattle. I hope your store's business will be prosperous and you will continue to do so. ??2023/11/10The new Laobian dumplings are so deliciousI finished eating before I even had time to take a photo. The butchered pork dish was also delicious. It was so delicious. I will come here often to eat dumplings.

Being Asian and eating out mostly at Asian restaurants, I certainly have very low expectations about services. However, I am still surprised about the poor service at this restaurant, as there was no common sense. When we entered the restaurant, there was a clear QR code at the entrance for ordering. We didn't know that by ordering through that QR code, dishes will be served via plastic bowls like takeout. Although the waiter immediately confirmed the order with us, i.e. knowing we were at the table, he still later served our food through plastic bowls. There was no water served, and we needed to come and ask the waiter for water. The food was substandard, far below my favorite North restaurant in University District.

I love supporting small businesses but this one just isn’t worth it. The food was terrible - beef dish was too oily to eat; soup dumplings had no soup on them and seemed stale; rice was cold. There was one person working the front and he seemed annoyed that when we arrived, as if having customers was a nuisance. Also, In understand keeping staff low but when I wanted a refill on water, I had to walk to the back of the restaurant to find them. If this had been takeout with takeout prices, I might care less but $60 for lunch for 2 people, I expect more.
