The site is a nightmare. Links don't work. Account info impossible to update. It used to be a good site, not anymore. Easier to drive to QFC and shop. Whoever is their tech people, fire them. You are not getting your monies worth unless Safeway hired on the cheap, which we suspect.

Staff on site need to label their beverages a lot better, I walked in today & they had their inventory all over the map. Nothing made sense they need a better system. Their beverages inventory says one thing, & when in cones time to check out, the price is completely different. Management needs to label a lot better. It took me too long to check out because of their lack/ poor labeling

This Safeway is really bad , customer service is so low. Called the manager couple times - no answerThe employees are very unrespectfull, ignored my asks... the store hours till 12am, but the restroom is open till 10. I am a pregnant lady, the customer of safeway, can not use their restroom on STORE HOURS. Will never come back

I love going to this Safeway when I get chance. Has always been in a good location. Pretty organized and neat. But the staff tend to not help or give me a vague answer of where things are. Which I don't really mind but I notice. I'm probably in this Safeway about 2-3 times a week grabbing my needs or having lunch. But recently, I was talked to by the manager of this Safeway and he claims me of being a thief. Since after I paid my groceries I went to get a meal from the deli and pay again. He thinks What I already paid for had to be purchased again. I disputed that I did not and pulled up my bank statement since I threw away my original receipt. He proceeded to call me a thief and say I'll be "nothing in life" as if it had anything to do with the situation. I continued to purchase my meal at self checkout and he refused to let me take my groceries. I tried to show my bank statement and said I threw my receipt away but had no choice but to leave as my lunch was over as my job was waiting.

SAFEWAY APP VOTED "MOST IMPROVED"Previously, I have been unable to make any headway with the Safeway app. But apparently they have improved their app, as I have finally been able to register and placed my first pick up order, which was consummated on Sunday, September 5, 2021, at their 1645 140th Ave NE location in Bellevue. And let me say that my experience of placing this order was an improvement over ordering over the confusing QFC app. The one exception would be with re: substitutions (in case they don't have the exact brand or size of a given product). Therefore I had to specify "no substitutions".LIVE FROM BELLEVUE, IT'S SUNDAY AFTERNOON!Other than that minor hiccup, the experience went well as it was easy enough to find the pick up parking spots. Upon arriving there, I called the phone number on the pick up spot sign, and low and behold, I immmediately got a live voice to answer, instead of a long recording, before finally connecting me to a live person. I do not know if that is their regular practice, or rather I just lucked out.ATTN: SAFEWAY CORPORATE!The delivery person, Debbie, came out a few minutes later, and was very pleasant to deal with. I explained to her my experience with my first pick up delivery, having made mention of the confusion re: substitutions. She acknowledged that other customers have also mentioned this problem. She even went back inside to get my receipt that she thought she forgot to include in my bags (though it was already there). My point being, she did not rush her delivery job with me. Safeway corporate, if you are reading this, fix your app re: substitutions. And give Debbie a raise!GOOD GROCERY APPS NOW A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH!I cannot emphasize the importance of a hassle free (and fee free) experience of ordering groceries via the grocery store app, and subsequent parking lot pick up experience, during these Covidian Times, especially with the Delta Variant (and perhaps even worse variants to come) still at large! I gave up using the QFC app and resumed shopping inside their store. Imagine millions of hungry infected people doing likewise!

Still disappointed! I left a full cart there right now because they're forcing people to self check out! They have enough staff from what I can see! Fine then, I will go where they will check me through. I'm not doing your check out job! I do t get a discount for doing your work! So QFC and Fred Meyers never ever disappoint! Another lost sale of at least $300 today! Your Safeway store needs to get it together! You wasted my time and now you get to out all those things back! There's work to be done!

I have been a customer my whole life, mainly because my dad worked there for 43 years. i libe going in, talking to the checkers and the bagger at check out. Today not one check out was open, I was forced to use self checkout. i detest self checkout with a basket of groceries! i had to wait after each item was put in the bag, unidentified object in bagng area over and over again. i asked where the checkers were and they didn't know. I left frustrated and angry. at least have one checkstand open.
