My friend and I just moved around the area and have been looking for a Hot Pot to go to. We found this on Yelp and it has great reviews, so we decided to give it a try. For our base, we got the chicken and schezuan beef and it did not dissapoint! The menu is pretty limited but it was more than enough! I am a hot pot lover and have been to almost every hot pot restaurant around Bellevue. Huo Yan Hot pot is honestly great, and I don't think they get enough credit! I usually get their AYCE option or just the regular "set" menu choice of veggies, meat, toppings, noodles, etc- and I've tried both the traditional spicy broth and the tomato broth, and trust me when I say this, they are so delicious. This was my first time trying AYCE hotpot although I have tried Korean BBQ AYCE before.Me and my friend went to this restaurant for saturday lunch. It was pretty easy to get a seat.There were plenty of options in the AYCE menu. We chose Fatty Beef, Fatty Lamb, Pork Belly, Chicken, Squid, Shrimp, Sole Fillet, Quail eggs and multiple other things.
