We’ve gone to this place many times. Each time we spent over $100 and everything used to be good. But the services are visibly getting worse. The wait time for food is longer, the servers are cold and careless. The last visit was disappointing because of the extremely cold attitude of the servers. They made me feel I came to beg for food.

Shaoshan Impression is easily the best Hunan-style Chinese food we’ve had in Bellevue so far. Every dish was cooked really well, with the right balance of seasoning, spice, and texture.

We ordered the chili oil jelly noodles, and they were perfectly executed, refreshing, flavorful, and packed with heat. The salted egg yolk beef tripe was another standout, rich and surprisingly delicious.

Good place for Chinese/hunan food. Place was noisy and busy, like a good Chinese restaurant should be. They have the motai rice liquor if you care to imbide. Our party of 3 probably spent $150, so not the cheapest place, but food was good and we had leftovers.
