We saw Taste of Xi’an listed on Eater 38 Bellevue and tried it out. It’s located inside an Asian food Court so there’s also lots of other yummy choices for people in group if they want something else like hot pot or dumplings. At Xi’an we had the lamb noodle bowl and the lamb biang noodle bowl (and drinks from a diff shop). Both were ready in about 5 minutes. Super yummy long hand -pulled noodles! In the lamb bowl the noodles were pan fried I think with the tender shredded lamb. In the soup, the noodles had absorbed the delicious broth flavor and the soup had a decent amount of bokchoy, scallions and mushrooms. Delicious meal in a very casual setting, and at a decent price…and pick up some groceries at Asian grocery store next door on your way out.

This is a wonderful Asian community. My husband is a huge fan of the lamb skewers and cold noodles here, while my child and I especially love the roasted pork knuckle. He’s a devoted lover of Xi’an cuisine and has traveled to Xi’an many times.
