Staff was super friendly. I got the teriyaki and katsu combo. The staff recommended and gave me garlic sauce to dip the katsu (in addition to the normal katsu sauce). It was delicious! I’ll most likely come back.

I hate to give such a poor review but I got a Campylobacter infection (from ingesting raw chicken) after eating at Teriyaki Express. I have been super ill for 8 days and it’s been awful. The food was tasty but I could not eat here again. The WA food department will be calling me so I can report this - I had to go to the emergency room from being so ill from the chicken. I advise this restaurant to review its hygiene practices.

Favorite teriyaki spot in the area. Get lunch here at least twice a week and every time the owner is happy to serve and give a smile.

Hidden gem alert: Just tried Tokyo Flame Teriyaki in Lynnwood and wow—this place delivers flavor and comfort in every bite.

I ordered the chicken teriyaki combo and it was perfectly grilled, juicy, and glazed with that rich, slightly smoky sauce that makes you want to lick the container. The rice was fluffy, the veggies crisp, and the portion? Generous without being overwhelming.

The staff were super friendly and fast, and the place had a cozy, no-frills vibe that made me feel right at home. Prices are great too—definitely wallet-friendly without sacrificing quality.

If you're craving classic teriyaki done right, this spot is a must. I’ll be back for the spicy pork next time!

On-par with what I expect from a teriyaki place however the katsu is much more crispier than I typically find elsewhere. Friendly staff. Convenient location near the light rail.

Standard teriyaki you can find anywhere with typical price $16-18 depending what you getting. Nothing special. Construction around makes it too much a hassle to swing that way.
