Great selection of food at this hotpot. I would highly recommend their tomato soup based broth.

I recently dined at this hot pot restaurant and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience.
The edamame was clearly not fresh. it tasted old and like it had been sitting out for too long. Definitely not the quality I expected. The hot pot base was also very mediocre, tasting just like the pre-packaged soup bases you can buy from the supermarket. There was nothing special or flavorful about it.
On top of that, the food was quite pricey for the quality offered. It simply wasn’t worth the cost.
To make matters worse, they add a 3% surcharge if you pay by credit card. They say the fee will be waived if you complete a survey, which feels unnecessary and a bit off-putting.
Overall, not worth the visit. I wouldn’t return.

Had an awesome experience at The Dolar Shop in Bellevue! The quality of the ingredients was excellent, and having individual hot pots made the experience even better. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and customizable to your taste. The atmosphere is upscale but a bit uncomfortable with the furnitures. Chairs and couches were way too as well as the table. It feels like it was made for elementary school kids. But the service was attentive and friendly. Great spot for hot pot with friends or family if you are financially comfortable it was a bit pricey overall.

The broths here are so flavorful and the meat quality is superior. Sauce bar and jelly bar have great selections and the free ice cream at the end is not to be missed, no matter how lactose intolerant you are.
Faves: Half creamy pork broth half tomato broth. Short plate, fried bean curd roll, tong ho, pea sprouts, veggie platter, shrimp paste.
Set menu options are a good deal, along with happy hour during lunch and late night. Plenty of parking (which they validate), reservations recommended.

The Dolar Shop Hot Pot has genuinely good food. The meat quality is excellent, no question, and the broth was flavorful and well done. The service was also attentive and polished.
That said, over $600 for hot pot is honestly insane. At that price point, the experience does not justify the cost. Happy Lamb Hot Pot is just as good food-wise and dramatically cheaper. Yes, the service here is better, but it is not $600 good.
Also, what is going on with the furniture? Everything is absurdly low. My knees were touching the table, and everyone in our party hated the seating. It felt cheap and tacky, which is especially jarring given how “luxury” the restaurant is trying to be.
Overall, tasty broth, great meat, and good service, but wildly overpriced and uncomfortable. I would only come back if prices were cut significantly.

The soup is not pork bone soup at all. It's pepper and water. So disappointing. 😭😭😭😭 Please get the proper recipe from China please. 😭😭😭😭 Or go to Hai di lao and learn how it's supposed to taste like pls
Service and meat was good.

Good hotpot. A bit overpriced compared to other hotpot restaurants in the area. If you’re looking for a full meal, I would recommend looking elsewhere like an AYCE option or get ready to pay for it!

Hot pot is more than just a meal; it's a social and culinary event defined by its broth, fresh ingredients, personalized dipping sauces, and atmosphere. I recently had the pleasure of dining at [Restaurant Name] and had a wonderful hot pot experience.
