Pretty good dim sum. There are basically very few competitors or comparisons around the area. Scan QR code at the table is quite convenient way to place order. Always long wait during weekends. Whatever the cashier said as far as wait time should be multiplied by 3 times. 15 minutes is basically 45 minutes wait. They automatically charge tea based on the number of party even though no tea was ordered. However, the waitress did correct the bill when she saw we didn't order tea.

First time coming here, the food was pretty good. I highly recommend the honey walnut, it was perfect, not overly sweet! Their chicken feet was okay, the after traste was a bit weird for me personally. The calamari was not the best, I don't recommend. Egg tart is 10/10 highly recommend, pork bun was good! Overall, I wouldn't mind coming back

After coming here for the third time I feel like I can finally review it. I saw this dim sum restaurant tucked away behind a Asian grocery store so every time I would do a grocery run It would always call to me or at least to my stomach. Finally tried it because they're aren't many options for dim sum around here and it was good but I feel like they could change a few things and make it great. 1x Shiu Mai 1x Steam Spareribs 1x Chicken Feet 1x Shrimp on sugar cane 1x Beef Tripe Siu Mai was super tasty thick and juicy which stood out compare to my last dim sum adventure, Everything else was good decent but the chicken feet was a bit greasy and left your mouth with a gelatinous greasy feeling but if you like it served that way this spot can deliver. Other flaws I noticed was no vaccination check even though there is a sign at the front door. They also charge for the tea which is shocking because I never noticed until this last time which is a huge red flag in my books because that is like the Bread to the dim sum Butter ya know? You don't go to a Mexican restaurant and they charge you for the chips and salsa?.. It's a comfort thing for me where you know you're in for a treat but first you have to get you're tastebuds dancing and stomach unlocked with the "COMPLIMENTARY" tea but this place does it's own thing but it's fine what's done is done. Dim sum prices were kinda high for the quality and flavor which is why we barely ordered. They have some things you don't see regularly on the menu when going out for dim sum but still doesn't balance out for quality and execution. Staff was nice whenever they would come by but there is a good amount of time where they would all disappear. Honestly if you we're craving dim sum and didn't care about money this place can fix you up but trust me when I say there are a good number of other places if you don't mind driving a bit that will have you feeling great and not that you made a mistake.

A bit surprised about the 3-star average, but it seems that experiences have been varied. A solid 4-star from my perspective, given a recent excellent experience. The parking lot can be a bit of a mess.. but Factoria mall's parking lot is always dead on the outer ends, so you should be fine parking across the street and coming over. Keep in mind that Top Gun is a bit hidden back near a car repair yard, beyond the Jing Jing asian market. The three of us stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and after a 15-20 minute wait, we were seated in the bustling restaurant. I haven't visited Top Gun in years, but it is the same traditional dim sum restaurant vibes- loud, families everywhere, and delicious plates of food all around. Currently they are doing mobile orders (on your phone via a QR code) rather than the traditional carts. This honestly makes it much easier and more efficient to get what you need. You can continue to add items and place orders, and you simply go up to the hostess stand to close your check via your associated table number. We had the greatest hits.. shy mai, radish cakes, rice rolls, soy sauce noodles, read bean sesame balls, etc. The food quality is great, everything comes out warm/fresh, and they are pretty quick about it all. It would be great to return soon with a larger group to order more variety. A great option on the Eastside, I'll be back again soon. Cheers!

I've heard of Top Gun as a popular place for their lunch Dim Sum options - so we decided to swing by and give Top Gun's Dim Sum a try! We went on a Saturday around 12pm and had a brief 5 minute wait to get seated. The atmosphere of the restaurant definitely gives you classic Dim Sum restaurant vibes - Busy with almost every table taken up and lots of chatter. I guess the only thing missing about the Dim Sum experience is the cart that gets wheeled around with all the food. Service was alright, food came out decently fast (~10 minutes after ordering) - although the staff forgot to get us one of the dishes that we ordered till we asked about it at the very end. We ordered a good variety of Dim Sum dishes that I'll try to review them all below: Shu Mai: These were massive dumplings, definitely filled to the brim with pork fillings. A classic Dim Sum staple, they were alright in terms of flavor - I would order these if you want something filling. Shrimp Dumplings: Another Dim Sum staple - a dish that you usually order when you come to eat Dim Sum. They were alright as well, had ok flavor and the shrimp filling was chewy. Xiao Long Bao: This were decent dumplings, but they were most definitely not soup dumplings at all - There was absolutely no soup in them at all! They were packed with pork and leek/onion (I think?), and had alright flavor, but by no definition were soup dumplings due to the lack of soup within them. Just something to keep in mind if you order these. Chicken Feet: I thought these were pretty good Chicken Feet! The flavor good and the texture was perfect - the feet soaked up the sauce well and were pretty tender. Definitely one of the better dishes out of the options we ordered. Egg Tarts: Man, I was surprised by the size of these egg tarts! They were tiny - bite sized pieces. I would have definitely preferred them to be bigger since that's what I've seen at other Dim Sum places. Flavor was only OK, by OK I mean a bit fainter than what I usually like. Turnip Cakes: These were OK, I definitely would have preferred a crispier exterior since that's what gives these cakes a better texture and flavor. I needed to add some soy sauce just to add a bit more flavor personally. Custard Bun: Very filling custard buns (ah, aren't they usually though?) - a good amount of custard filling and wasn't too sweet. Only thought of these as alright - should order these if you are craving custard buns and need something filling and sweet. Molasses Buns (Not Shown and staff forgot about it): This was the dish that we ordered that didn't show up till we asked the waiter about it - though we were charged on the receipt for it. Otherwise the service error, the buns were delicious - warm and really fluffy and had a good molasses flavor. It was a shame that we got them so late and pretty much after our meal though. In the end, I would say the Molasses Buns and Chicken Feet were the only things I would recommend if you decide to visit Top Gun. As all the other options were only OK. One surprising thing about Top Gun was that tea cost $3! Based on various other Dim Sum restaurants I've gone to in the past, I was pretty surprised about this since I feel that tea is usually complementary for Dim Sum - it's pretty much a staple and provided at no extra cost. I would keep this in mind when you go there. Overall, spent $57 at Top Gun for this Dim Sum experience. Overall, I thought Top Gun was only alright (slightly below mid tier in my mind) - the flavors didn't really blow me out of the water and the service was ok. I mean, this is a popular Dim Sum restaurant according to the community and these are only my thoughts - but if you want to stop by and see what Top Gun is about - go for it!

Top Gun has been around a loooong time and is pretty much a staple for dim sum in Bellevue. Food has been hit or miss over the years, but the parking lot has always been a disaster. My parents said their dim sum has been pretty good lately, so we grabbed some takeout recently to give it a try. We were definitely not about to dine-in, given the recent reviews about tables being packed together tightly and not checking Covid vaccination cards. Not going to risk it. Anyway, we ordered a ton of food so we could try a variety. Overall, quality is decent, but still not as good as Jade Garden. The char siu pork buns weren't as fluffy as they could've been and the filling was lacking. Same with the sticky rice. Very little filling and no flavor at all. That being said, it's still a decent option if you want to avoid driving to seattle!

Food is great. I ordered so many dim-sum dishes. I decided to ask for detailed print-out which almost all Chinese restaurants don't provide. I was just checking the items, and noticed $6 charged for 15 to-go boxes. I would never know if I didn't ask for this print out. It's almost the same price as one dim-sum dish! $0.40 per box really adds up. So they up the price per dim-sum dish, and then charge extra for to-go boxes. I would have brought my own containers and my reusable bags.

Our go-to Dim Sum place. Food always good, line always out the door, hospitality always as-antipated with phone orders taking precedence over people trying to pay the bill and free up a table. Great experience for the family!

Terrible service. Terrible management. Terrible business practices. I placed a to-go lunch order for my group and ordered some dimsum and a couple lunch specials on a Tuesday. I show up to pick up my order and the guy tells me that they swapped out my lunch specials for dinner sized portions so that there's more of it. I didn't ask for that... Why would you switch it without even asking me? On top of that "Oh, BTW your bill is now $20 more than it was before." What??? Not sorry at all, this place needs to clean up it's act. Check the other reviews, this place doesn't care about the customers. If they have the balls to do this, among other messed up things, what else might they be doing that we don't know about?

The host at the front desk is very rude. She called the customer "blind" for not knowing how long the line is

Foods great here, I just go for Dim sum. It's probably my go-to for compared to the other spots nearby. They do get packed during the rush, there is limited parking, they are a bit pricy but can't do much about that. I know the territory when it comes to ordering and dining in Asian spots like this, their customer service is s**** Like there's none at all.. (at least for hosts) they do talk about you of you things harder for them but I keep coming for the dim sum lol so can't really complain. So.. I guess heads up.

Hidden gem in Bellevue. I usually go to Chinatown for my Chinese food fix but I met some friends in the area and they found this place. So not knowing what to expect, I walked into this establishment not knowing what to expect. The place used QR code ordering based on where you are sitting so once you add stuff to your cart (via cell phone), it tally’s up all the food and cost, then you hit order. I would definitely come back as I am unsure if it’s actually good or I was just super hungry that night. I tend to visit places twice to determine if I really like or hate a place. Stay tuned, lol.

Went here for Sunday dim sum with 2 friends - wait wasn't as bad as I was expecting, only took about 15-20 minutes to get seated. There are still no dim sum carts and you order on your phone and the food is brought out - which I actually prefer to the traditional carts and hope it stays this way even when things are "normal" again! We ordered most of the traditional dim sum items like shu mai, rice rolls, radish cakes, etc. - everything came out warm and was very happy with the quality of the food. Prices were very reasonable too! Definitely going to make this a regular dim sum spot.

First time here. It was a Sunday, late afternoon, and pretty busy.Once you're seated you scan the QR code and order from your phone. The portion sizes were pretty filling and everything we ordered was delicious. The prices are pretty reasonable as well. We'll likely come back again but maybe during the week so it's not as crowded.Oh, the parking lot is very small so it could be an issue when it gets really busy.
