Stopped in this quaint Italian restaurant for dinner and wine. We all ordered a different meal, one had the winter pasta special, I had the lemon fettuccine, And my friends had the rigatoni and chopped Italian salad. There were no leftovers. The food was delicious and the two bottles of Italian wine were perfecto. We celebrated a birthday, so we enjoyed the lemon olive oil cake for dessert and was so tasty and fabulous.

Intimate, quiet. Nice and quiet. Perfectly cooked pasta reminiscent of Roma. Just a great experience shared with dear friends. We'll be back.

The service was great. Some of the food was middle of the road, such as the gnocchi. To me, all I tasted was the olive oil. But when we added the panccetta, it made the dish much better. It was my first time eating there so I'm hoping it was just a one off.The atmosphere is intimate. This is not a big place by any means. The wine selection is nice too, making for a perfect date night.I would not recommend this place for kiddos.

When my mushroom pasta arrived with ONE single mushroom quartered and elegantly positioned over creamy pasta, I was taken aback by the audacity. It takes some nerve to call that mushroom pasta and charge $19 at lunchtime. Still, the atmosphere took me back to Italy. It is lovely in there and you can see the chef cooking just steps from your table. But looks aren't everything. In order to earn my business again they will need to get more generous with their servings. Even the cheese on my daughter's kid pasta was stingy. I think it was about $12 for a small plate of noodles with a dash of cream and maybe a HALF tablespoon of cheese. I mean, really stingy. Also, why no meat on the kids menu? Have you ever contemplated that by being stingy with children, you are literally affecting their growth? The house-made focaccia with tomato sauce was incredible so they may have some other winners, and the wine looked well chosen. Chocolate chip cookie was pretty good too. Service nice, but in a superficial way.

I got one of the specials, which was their take on a blt. Good lord. the best sandwich I’ve had in a long time, easily the best I’ve had in bham. My server told me they might give it a permanent spot on the menu, I pray that they do because wow have they really nailed it with this one. Great cozy atmosphere as well, my server was very friendly. Not much of a wine guy but they seem to have a decent selection. Will definitely be returning.

Yes, yes, and yes. The food, wine, and ambiance will have you returning for more. The sandwiches are the best I've ever had. I highly recommend the Cicotti BLT, the Meatball sandwich, and the Truffle Grilled Cheese.

The food was amazing and when you're done eating your food, you always can stop by the museum. And the service was amazing. The food came so fast like say the waiter was the flash that's how fast it was. And the vibe of this place was amazing like everything was amazing. They have beautiful lights everywhere. The tables are perfect and if you like sit in that like a bar, they got a perfect bar outside in the sun. went with my mother for happy hour!

Really cute space next to the museum. Service was great!! The food unfortunately lacked, pricey for what it was, but they had a nice beer and wine selection. And daily specials. Their sister restaurant seemed to have a higher caliber option but it’s always so busy, this is a nice quiet spot. Lots of patio seating!

Amazing food with really kind wait staff. We had the small Italian bites Saturday special and it was delicious. The tagliatelle was amazing too, and you can’t pass up their desserts.Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options were really goodKid-friendliness: Lots of space on the back patio for kids to run around, and my toddler has never eaten as much as the rigatoni she was served, she loved it.

Champagne was excellent. My mushrooms were undercooked. Every time I go here something is a little off but the staff is always friendly and the wine and cocktails are good. I wish they were more consistent.

Why did we wait so long to try this place?? Just went with our two kids for a simple afternoon snack of hot chocolate and some focaccia. Staff was super nice, including to our boisterous four year-old. Hot chocolate was beautiful and delicious and the focaccia was fought over to the last crumb. Will definitely be back -- hopefully next time with the hubs for a more relaxed time with wine. Highly recommend!
