* Original review Be careful! We drove all the way there and there was a sign on the door “SOLD OUT. SEE YOU TOMORROW”. Couldn’t eat. Had to leave and went to Fiamma Pizza instead. Although I look forward to trying it in the future and will come back and change my review if it’s great! 👍

Okay, we all know that I've been looking for the best BBQ here in Bellingham, and I finally found it! Big Stick BBQ is hands down the best, and it's in a low-key spot that you would never expect! It's got beer and wine as well if you're feeling up for a drink, and for my non-drinker get the blackberry lemonade it's the best not too sweet, and not too tart. MY FAVORITE IS THE BIG Texas cheese steak did I mention their barbecue sauce is made in-house with all natural ingredients, it's very safe to say you're eating all natural food, that will actually fuel you, or take a good nap 😴. Either way. I love it! Give big stick BBQ a try. You will Not be disappointed!!! Also The location makes the restaurant feel totally exclusive. As, if you're from Bellingham you should know that big stick barbecue is definitely a place to recommend to tourists, travelers, family, and friends.

We coordinated our order and event details via email ahead of time, and when we arrived, everything was perfectly prepared—seating was ready, the food came out quickly, and the service was top-notch.
We enjoyed the sliders and a variety of sides, and every bite was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. You can tell the team at Big Stick BBQ takes a lot of pride and joy in what they do.
A big shout-out to Kayla, Bailey, and Liam for their exceptional service. They were friendly, attentive, and made sure our entire group felt welcome and well taken care of.
If you haven’t been to Big Stick BBQ yet, it absolutely deserves a spot on your list of local restaurants to try. If the smell of the smoker doesn’t lure you in, the warm and welcoming service definitely will!

Fantastic food and seriously amazing service. Just tried this spot for the first time and it did not disappoint. The brisket, rolls, and beans were heavy hitters. Employees put a huge smile on my face. Will be coming back for seconds! Thanks y’all :)
Best bbq in the area! Kind of hidden spot but that’s ok less lines for me. But seriously , the brisket is AMAZING, juicy great cook bark is fantastic and other worldly. Don’t even get me started on the ribs and pork belly burnt ends. Flavor town. The environment is super relax and cozy, menus are displayed everywhere inside with cool merchandise too. Staff is friendly and approachable. Life music and specials on weekends sometimes with pizza oven 10/10 would recommend.

Got the sampler, it was amazing. Couldn’t resist the pudding. Fantastic service. A perfect summer bbq dinner.
Ordered lg combo and 1 extra side. Got home no ribs and beans were hard. Called left svrl msgs, no call back. Cld mngr and he said he would have a gift card to replace meal. Went back and they said they changed their minds. SERIOUSLY, spent $100.00. Never again!

Went for a weekend date with my wife to first stop in at this amazing bbq place. We shared the combo for 2 and the Brisket was something we never experienced before and was worth every bite. When the plate of ribs, brisket and pulled pork came to our table we couldn't resist not waiting to take a picture first lol, hence why half our food was eaten before we reminded to take the picture of our experience. Service and staff were so friendly and we can't wait to go again. 5 star across the board! Thank you Big Stick Barbeque :)
