My mom is a SOLID Miller Lite drinker. She requested this beercation. Boundary Bay was her sixth brewery around town & she declared her beer the best she's had. We've ate @ several breweries as well. She also found the Banh Mi. her favorite meal. THANKS to Brian, Madison & Brronty for the great service! Especially Madison helping w the parking meter. Cheers!!
Very nice venue. Great selection of beers. Little disappointed as the bartender ignored me and served others that were behind me in line first. Also disappointed that the options for tipping at a bar started at 18%. I normally tip 10% for bar service and 20% for dinner service.
So glad I had the chance to visit Boundary Bay before they retire — what an experience!

Boundary Bay Brewery & Bistro is a well-known spot in Bellingham, famous for its community feel and lively events. The brewery has been a staple for 30 years, offering great beer and decent food. On the menu, there are satisfying options like the harvest salad, beef burger, and reuben sandwich, with the corned beef in the reuben being thick-cut. Beer lovers should try the nitro ESB, along with their staple scotch ale and Bellingham blonde. The brewery features a lovely lower beer garden, making it a popular place for music and family outings. It often hosts all-ages dance parties during the summer, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere. Visitors enjoy the friendly environment, tasty food, and a good selection of beers. Recently, some customers noted that service can be inconsistent and that tipping options started at 18%, which was a bit disappointing. Parking can be a challenge during spring and summer due to the farmers market across the street, but overall, Boundary Bay remains a beloved local spot worth visiting before any ownership changes.
