Really nice experience! I found out about this place via ChatGPT, and we’re worried that the price for the tour was not going to be worth it, but we were very surprised.
The tour was really great. Nat was really great! She explained all the process really well.
Also, there were a lot of samples, and in the end, we were able to try out all the products.
We ended up buying the coffee liquor, which was really good.
It’s totally worth it! If you are around Bellingham, this is a must!
Patio on top of the building - Went on opening day. Beautiful view, amazing and friendly service, great cocktails and tasty food.
I look forward to what comes next!
We did the distillery tour with the expectation that it would be like many others we have been on--basically a quick 30 minute overview followed by let's see what we can sell you. This was the exception--Nat our tour guide took us on a 90+ minute journey through their history, process of distilling and description of the various products. She not only demonstrated her in depth knowledge but presented in an enthusiastic and personable manner. Thanks Nat for an informative and enjoyable tour.
Took the distillery tour on Mother's Day and it was great. Very informative and the tour guide was very knowledgeable. It was interesting to learn that the distillery is completely vertically integrated, starting with sourcing their grains locally (within 30 miles). Highly recommend.
Nat was our guide and was awesome! I’m fresh into the distillery world and have gone on quite a few tours around Washington, yet I learned so much. From the different grains and seeing the mash in action to the actual distillers, Nat was super knowledgeable. The mini cocktails were yummy , we will definitely back for more.
Best food we have had in Bellingham! Highly recommend it.
Chuckanut Distillery gave us more than just a great tour—it gave us a truly meaningful afternoon. The experience was outstanding from start to finish, with a delicious lunch and an unforgettable tour led by Nat, who was warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. Nat’s hospitality set the tone for the entire visit.
What made this day even more special was a surprise visit from a dear friend from Louisiana, who flew in while my mom was in hospice. It was an emotional time, and this afternoon at Chuckanut was the perfect, much-needed break. We left feeling lighter, grateful, and inspired by the care and quality that goes into everything they do here.
Can’t recommend this place enough—for the spirits, the people, and the moments you’ll remember long after.
Perfect date night and great value. Harry gave an excellent tour and answered our group’s ten million questions perfectly — and served amazing drinks, of course. Drinking 5-year-aged whiskey straight from the barrel was something I’ll never forget.
I had no clue what a special place I was walking by every day right here in downtown Bellingham. The distillery’s dedication to sustainability and giving back to the community shone through almost as much as the quality of their spirits.
I’m also very excited to learn they’re adding a rooftop patio this summer. I will be here for every happy hour!! Best espresso martini in town and the best gin I’ve ever tried. Penny Farthing + Chuckanut Distillery might be my favorite restaurant and drinks spot in WA!
My girlfriend and I went on the distillery tour. It was very informative and had great drinks and tasters. We learned a lot and had a blast. Highly recommend. Nat was a great tour guide with plenty of knowledge about both the history of the space and the company. We also enjoyed learning about the distilling process. A great value as well.
This was my second time on the distillery tour and it once again did not disappoint! A great place to learn how whiskey (and other spirits) are made, from grain to bottle. Our tour guide Alli was fantastic, offering great cocktails and an entertaining informative tour! Highly recommended for both locals and visitors!

This was a great experience. Nat was fabulous, you can tell she loves what she does! Started us with a unique absinthe cocktail, then led us through the entire production line while giving a great education on distilling spirits. Would highly recommend this tour! Well worth the $20
We kicked off the weekend with a Friday evening tour with Nat who knew so many great facts about the spirits, the brand and building. The 2 mini cocktails she whipped up were fabulous. Who knew that absinthe could be so good in a mixed drink? After the tour, we enjoyed sampling different spirits, with the bourbons getting 5 thumbs up, the coffee liquor a close second tied with Krampus. Enjoy
We had an amazing time on the group tour at The Chuckanut Bay Distillery! Our tour guide, Nat was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the distilling process. Their expertise really made the tour fascinating and engaging from start to finish. We learned so much about the history of the distillery and the art of crafting spirits.
The best part was definitely the interactive and hands-on experiences that Nat guided us through. It made the tour so much fun and allowed us to really immerse ourselves in the process. And of course, the samples of spirits throughout the tour were a delightful touch!
It was a truly entertaining and enjoyable way to spend the evening. Highly recommend this experience for anyone looking for a fun, educational, and delicious way to spend time in Bellingham. Thanks, Nat, for such a fantastic experience!
The distillery tour was the highlight of my time in Bellingham. Nat was a fantastic tour guide and offered up 2 delicious cocktails to enjoy on the tour as well as a bunch of tasters. Really high quality, well made spirits to purchase at the end as well. I'd definitely recommend to anyone visiting!
The tour guide knew so much, the tour was interesting with so many interesting bits.
