Ono is delicious. The Hawaiian-centric cuisine and thoughtful and creative drinks really meld together to create something wonderful. The staff is always super kind, prices are reasonable, and the location right in the heart of downtown is perfect for a lunch meeting or weekend date night dinner.

Foods great love this place but why did the longhaired short male server touch me on the back yesterday when he was literally just dropping off some sauce for the food that was coming soon. I wasn't even the one eating. Please tell him physical contact with the customers is a violation of personal space. I don't want a stranger touching me randomly and a lot of people feel the way I do about strangers touching them.

Hubby and I are very new to the area and so happy to discover this little gem. We had a craving for hand rolls and the nearby place was closed so we strolled down (up?) Chestnut and spotted Ono Kitchen. Imo the worst thing about Hawaii is the food (sorry) so I wasn’t exactly thrilled but the menu looked promising and tbh Pat#1 at the counter was really passionate about the menu and I suddenly needed a misubi. The place is also nicely done with cool details like the spam...
