Spud-tacular
Servers and staff were great, as we'll as the food. But, like most places anymore, seemed understaffed. Thats the only complaint. Thank you for the great breakfast and good service!

Grouchy's Diner, also known as Diamond Jim's, offers a classic diner experience with friendly and welcoming service. The food is phenomenal, very delicious, and well made, with cooks who put love into the craft. The menu is varied and understated, offering breakfast staples like eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, chicken fried steak, and the ABTJ. Hash browns are outstanding, crispy and pillowy, and the chicken fried steak is perfectly made and seasoned. Portions are large sized. House made hot sauces and jams are available for purchase. Service is great, with hot coffee refills before guests even ask and a server who is the true heart of the great American diner. The only negatives are that the chicken fried steak can be very small, and there are only canned sodas with no refills. Overall, great value and a place guests will happily return to for a classic American breakfast.
