Diamond Jim’s has gone downhill lately. Smaller portions, burnt bacon, a single piece if toast. Prices have not gone down, but breakfast sure has.
Accidentally spilled a drink, they added a clean up fee. Not sure on the exact amount because they refused to give a receipt saying it jammed. Will never go there again.

The food is phenomenal, very delicious, and well made, with cooks who put love into the craft. The menu is varied and understated, offering breakfast staples like eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, chicken fried steak, and the ABTJ. Hash browns are outstanding, crispy and pillowy, and the chicken fried steak is perfectly made and seasoned. Portions are large sized. House made hot sauces and jams are available for purchase. Service is great, with hot coffee refills before guests even ask and a server who is the true heart of the great American diner. The only negatives are that the chicken fried steak can be very small, and there are only canned sodas with no refills. Overall, great value and a place guests will happily return to for a classic American breakfast.
