The staff who helped me were very nice, but as someone who buys and eats pelmeni from russian markets regularly, this was wayyy overpriced. $25 for a meals worth of boiled pelmeni?? Pelmeni is like the easiest thing to make in the world and to charge this much for it is insane. The sauces are good, I like them but not enough to go out of my way and eat here again. If I were you, I’d just find euromart and buy a big bag of frozen pelmeni for like half of the price. Takes less then 10 minutes to boil and it’s ready to serve. Staff very kind though. And the food quality itself is good but the prices are weird.
I’d like to mention, I ordered the 1lb (to-go) for me and my boyfriend to split and that was definitely not enough for us to split. I don’t have the biggest appetite either I eat quite normally. The portions I’m seeing in other photos seem to have more than I was served so maybe I was given less than I was supposed to have? Anyway, I’m gonna have to make some more food at home after I eat this because this won’t be quite enough.

So, I'm torn here. One its super hard to know if this place is open. As there is no open sign. Two, when we stated it was the first visit, and didn't understand how it worked the gal that checked us in just smiled and laughed and didn't really help in anyway until we pushed. Once the food showed up, the truth is, if you want Russian style, Ukrainian style dumplings and sides, this is your place. If not.....well yeah.

My snobby Ukrainian friend said these dumplings are legit, and she was not wrong. I had the pelmeni w/ thyme sauce and my dad had the chicken with garlic sauce. I probably wouldn't order the thyme again, but that's a me thing. We also got aside of pickled mushrooms that were fabulous. Overall, pretty tasty.
The parking lot, and curb cuts are a bit wacky, look at the map before you go.

Everything we ordered was fantastic. We’ll be back! We followed the advice of others and ordered a split double down, got three sauces, two sides: the pickled cauliflower and beets, a couple of our favorite drinks from the cold case and it was a satisfying meal for two! The interior was a pleasant place to dine in and all the staff were helpful and efficient.

Everything was good except the price was slightly higher than I expected for the type of the dumpling. They're like a pelmeni dumpling not asian dumpling that I had imagined it was going to be.
Super good dumplings. I had the butter sauce. Had the honey cake - I've never had anything like it and it was great.

Went to Hey Dumplin today and I’m seriously impressed. I got the 1 lb dumpling plate, half Classic Pelmeni and half Chicken, and every bite was perfect — soft, rich, and full of flavor.
Tried four sauces: Sweet Chili Soy, Triple Chili Butter, Charred Garlic Thyme, and Tuscan Tomato Parm — and honestly, they were all killer. if i Had to pick a favorite it was the Sweet chili for sure
The vibe in there was awesome — chill, clean, and super friendly service. Everything came out looking great and tasted even better. Definitely one of those places you instantly want to come back to.

Been wanting to try this place since they opened and so glad I finally got to!! Really good dumplings, I found the portion sizes to be perfect. I had chicken pelmeni in Onion Dill w/ Chili sauce, which I definitely recommend! I’m gonna have to keep coming here til I try all the sauces… :)
