How I heard of this place: We were walking by and noticed a line outside of the bakery. We made a mental note to try it another time, sans line. Our next visit with family from out of country, we decided we should give it a taste. Type of cuisine: Bakery with pastries including cakes, buns, muffins, cookies, danishes and more. Espresso and iced beverages also available. Ambiance: The inside seems cute, though we were hastily informed that it's off limits when we tried to enter the side doors (where other customers were streaming in and out, and we were eventually told we could sit to partake of our treats). Staff were less than friendly, but took our drink and pastry orders at a walk-up window, where the glare on the pastry case, as well as the number of things obstructing proximity to the window made it difficult to see and decide. The interior "cafe seating" is limited to three tables with only a couple of chairs at each, a staircase leading up to the offices/homes? above, and the "off limits" area directly to the opposite side. The small side table was covered in a layers of dust so thick, it was distracting and made us feel like shrinking into our seats without touching or skimming past anything. What I ordered: We selected a raspberry cheese danish, a blueberry cheese danish, a slice of carrot cake, a chocolate torte, and a lavender shortbread cookie. For our drinks, a mocha, two peppermint steamed milks, a watermelon Italian soda and a large brewed coffee. What I loved: The cheese danishes were the only items we would order again, based solely on flavor, though the croissant-like base left something to be desired (seemed stale and day-old). The chocolate torte was cake-y, not "fudgey" like we were told, and the shortbread hard rather than soft and buttery. The carrot cake left much to be desired in all respects. Why I loved it: The convenience of location, directly opposite the Fairhaven green made for an easy stop. Cost: High, overpriced.

One of my favorite spots in Bellingham. I think we've just about tried almost everything, but some favorites are the hen's nest, rooster, brownie, bear claw, cookies, and cinnamon roll. They also make one of my favorite hot chocolates in BHam. Everytime we go, we can't just pick one thing and never regret it! We haven't stayed and eaten on the outside seating, but the to-go orders are always correct and quick, given the line that's always there.

Nice little bakery in Bellingham and close to cheap public parking. Prices are on the higher end but they have a nice selection and tastes good.

This is my favorite bakery in Bellingham. They make exceptional croissants. It’s worth waiting in the line out front, and come early because they often sell out! I only wish they were open more days a week, but I appreciate the exceptional quality of their food and that they don’t overwork their staff or themselves.

Best pastries in Bellingham! The chocolate almond croissant is our favorite go-to, and their pot pies make the perfect no-prep dinner! Hard to say much about the service and ambiance because they haven't opened their space back up since COVID. The line is outside, and the inside space is closed. Still a lovely place that we thoroughly enjoy!

I absolutely love coming here! They have the best pastries in town and really amazing coffee. My only complaint is how infrequent they’re open and they’re outside ordering system. They do take a minute to get you your food/drinks, so don’t come in a rush!

Best pastries in Bellingham. Wish they’d open back up the inside area for a few cozy seats and so you don’t have to stand in queue outside to order.

First experience here, it smelled really good from the sidewalk so I stopped for a latte and tart. The guy I walked past on the sidewalk laughed when I said “damn that is good” under my breath. Rich and creamy, great espresso, not too sweet. Linzer tart was also excellent.

What is the deal with this place? 2020/21 era lockdown-style ordering outside from a window, awkwardly asked verbally if I want to add a tip for a very overpriced croissant, followed by a long wait for a simple order. I’ve been 3 or 4 times and can’t even go back because this is just terrible service. Coming here and seeing the owner responding to these complaints with “this suits our business model better” is laughable. Your business model is garbage if you believe this and you would not last a month in any other market.

This is our favorite bakery in Fairhaven and we always make sure that we go at least a couple of times when we are in town. Their quiche is so good as are everything else we have gotten there. This year we had the focaccia bread and rooster rolls. Wow! I have never had anything here that I didn't enjoy immensely!

They have the best croissants in town partially thanks to the use of imported dough with protected designation of origin from Europe. Everything else is equally excellent thanks to the proprietors’ immense expertise, execution, and dedication. The staff runs around a lot to hand deliver your order. So, leave a tip if you so choose. If you get bored, talk to Fred the owner. He’s got lots of stories.

I want to like it. The pastries are good, the staff is friendly. But the whole system of ordering from a crowded and blocked window and then long waits is bonkers. Fifteen minutes just to be told twice that your orders have sold out.. Since you paid for them? Yipes.
