J’s Kitchen has incredible food — it truly feels like enjoying a home‑cooked meal straight from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience authentic Latin flavors, or to anyone from Puerto Rico who’s craving that comforting, old‑fashioned home cooking just like abuela used to make. Little tiny restaurant pumping out some truly delicious flavors. I had the Mofongo with crispy pork, it was savory journey of flavor & textures that was definitely something special. My husband had the Cubano & wasn’t disappointed. We shared a side order of the sweet plantains which are an absolute must have!! Looking forward to trying more of the menu.

stopped in Bellingham to do some errands, and found a piece of home while I was here! Really enjoyed J’s kitchen. I love to see Puerto Rican culture celebrated and preserved. I hope they continue to stay here so I can visit on my next trip to Bellingham! My only complaint was that their pique was not spicy.

Everything is labeled gluten free/vegan, and the service was great and so welcoming. Accurate cultural music was playing, 10/10 would recommend!!!!!!
