The owners are really great people who host fun events and make killer cocktails. In the summer when the court yard is open it is a fun place to be.

Beautiful ambience and great wine. We came for a glass of wine before dinner and it was wine tasting night! Great pours & yummy wine!

Brandon & Shannon have curated such a lovely spot to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. They are incredibly knowledgeable and more than happy to walk you through what your tastebuds would enjoy most. I highly recommend Kismet Cafe & Drink to any wine lover!

The wines are delicious and well curated, the food is thoughtful and fresh, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Kismet is a great place to spend an afternoon working or relaxing in either their comfortable indoor space or out in the sunshine of their spacious courtyard.

Wonderful spot to meet up with anyone over a drink (or two). The atmosphere is clean and welcoming and the owners are so sweet and attentive. I'm also obsessed with their olives, recommend thoroughly!

And lucked out here fantastic coffee. Not cheap but quality! Easygoing music if they had lounges or chairs instead of hardwood stools I’d have stayed all day. Jalapeño and cheese sandwich was exceptional

Went to Kismet with my bride today. The menu was very small which could make it a 4 star overall, but what we got was really good and good service makes it a 5. Definitely healthy and unique flavors. Great wine available and really nice owner. Would be a great spot when the sun comes out. Hope they do wonderfully!

It was delightful to discover Kismet in the Lightcatcher Building. It made a nice little interlude in between seeing this museum and the Whatcom Museum across the street in the Old City Hall. It's a pretty place inside, full of light itself. We had the gravlax and the avocado "toast"--quotes around toast as ours wasn't actually toasted, which I think would have been nicer. The toppings were very delicious, but I found the breads they sat on rather overwhelmingly large and grainy. Perhaps they are special and artisan, but I don't think they made the best compliment for either selection. That said, all was very nice and we enjoyed washing it all down with a nice gruner veltliner. The bird mural in the bathroom is not to be missed.

I was looking forward to go there, with all th great reviews! Major disappointment. The place looks cute, artsy feeling. That's about where the positive stop, if you are there for a coffee. On a chalkboard there is a desciption of the beans, the tastes to expect. OK. Promising, maybe. I asked for a double espresso. The barista put his phone down, ground the beans and tapped them. He put the cup completely up on the portafilter, so he could not even see what was coming out. Which actually did not matter, as he was casually checking his phone all along while my coffee shot was being done... the extraction ran for over 35 seconds, maybe even 45, incredibly long for an espresso... He did check twice, to see the quantity of liquid in the cup, but never looked at actually WHAT was coming out... I took my coffee, had one taste... beurk. Tried to add sugar to make it palatable. Again, not good. I tried a 3rd small sip, sometimes... No. Spat the sip back out in the cup. Left my cup on the table. Paid and went out. No flavour except bitterness, burnt liquid. Nothing from the things promised on chalkboard. Well, seeing how he did the coffee, can I be surprised? Pathetic. * this is part of a series of 5 Makati cafés I visited on a week end coffee exploration

You got the option to exchange books in here! I also love the European chill vibe. Most importantly, they serve good food which gives you options for organic or vegan menu. And oh, the wifi is super fast on fibre!
