Soooo, it’s a FIVE STAR EXPERIENCE, just don’t order the pizza! (Kidding!!!!) Matthews is an experience unlike any other, and we have been to many bars/cocktail lounges all over the world. Matthew (the actor) is a gem. An immediate welcoming smile when you walk through the door, and from then on it’s a wonderfully comfortable, pleasant, professional experience! This visit only allowed for a glass of wine but seeing the “fancy” cocktails being concocted behind the bar...
Feels like a college cocktail bar. When I asked the bartender what cocktails they could make with mezcal he said a mezcal old fashion. Anything else? No ideas. Feels like a ‘cocktail bar’ should have a few ideas. Drinks, service and ambiance all about 3. The redeeming quality is that it is not that expensive.

IMO Honest Cocktails is not pretentious. This here is a chill bar with people sitting at the bar chatting away mindlessly without a concern in the world. (The definition of a bar.)
